If you still want gens, Subutai will be most useful when you can get his Unique Equipment. However, you may try him out.
Did you buy Theodora? The Justinian-Theodora bond is quite useful in many scenarios.

Baldwin IV without his Unique Equipment is roughly outclassed in terms of damage output by his competitors like Alexios I. He's recommended mainly for his active, which I hardly use outside a few battles or specific scenarios.
Is Li Jing's weapon in range? If not, you should be able to hold with Alfred and Nevsky.

Q2. Did you buy pay to acquire the title and all that came before?
You need to fulfil the criteria for at least one title and buy a title, using in-conquest coins, from each column from left to right. Then, you would see the in-conquest event that your faction has acquired that new title.
Note: Some other factions may occupy specific titles and they need to be defeated for you to acquire it. Eg., Kingdom of Hungary in Century of Iron.

Q3. I spend them on extremely rare fragments like Tang troops but I am prioritising weapons right now. The gold ones are especially valuable for their gem slots and status boosts.

Yes, you have to claim an earlier title (any title from one column to the left) to be able to unlock the title you want. Then, you will be allowed to buy the title you aimed for, assuming you met the requirements and have enough coins.

Note: Many states may share titles in the last column, but some titles are restricted to one or two states. Also, not all neighbouring or similar factions share the same intermediate titles.
You may notice this from playing the Eastern Slavic faction in Viking Invasion who seem to be the only faction with Slavic Empire as the final title.

I think it's tied to the Apple ID on your device at the time of download. Not sure if cross-account transfer is possible, but unlikely.

That’s really unfortunate. Anyways, another question I have is how to get the Imperial Bow Cavalry (Timur’s special unit). I am unable to recruit them using the mercenary things or exchange them using the souls of war. Where else am I able to get them?

Second question is what are the best raids for an F2P player? I am currently doing daily raids for Alfred and El Cid hard mode to get their unit fragments to level those units up.

I'd only raid t6 units (Conquistador, BAG, Sepu, IBC) and buy t5 units (mongolian) with souls. If possible, buy units from the shop (viking warrior, Varangian, Lombardy for coins).

Minimum is 30 shards to unlock. The ratio is given at the bottom of the unit's icon when reviewing your troop upgrades.

- Based on statuses, Dromore are good for naval combat especially for fast troops or defensive actions.
- Viking Longboat for attacking ground troops and travelling.
- Any boat with +1 mobility is worth considering in naval battles or just cruising because each sea tile needs 4 points, ignoring reefs (solved by Zebec).
- Can't remember, but some ships have +40% dmg against forts which is important for attacking cities and castles.

Thanks for the replies. It looks like I’m gonna have to beat the sixth chapter in his legend in hard mode to get 10 more shards. Another question is that what should I use my parts on? I’m thinking Dromon because I can’t get it anywhere else, but I’m not sure. I can’t unlock Orban cannon or Steyr cannon yet, so how do I get those or should I get them in the first place?
