I'd argue that I have a better start: Sorin, Shigehide, Motochika, Motonari, Yoshihisa. No Ujiyasu but good enough. I got Sorin among other fragments as well, so now I have two best Artillery guys No teppo no party. lol Cavalry is incredibly weak in this game and archer can't ignore defense. At least this version is the version of teppo and arty.

Not Quite agree though even cavalry is not strong as previous game only Takeda one is good but if it’s heavy it’s tough to kill, other aspects in this game everything from gacha to unit dmg is quite RNG, Nobunaga with full upgrade set can cause DMG up to 850 but sometimes only 160.

balthazar I don't have neither Mortar nor DoP at the moment. But by the looks of it DoP has better special abilities. Since enemies are usually grouped together Spanish is a good way to weaken them before your main forces attack. But, of course, if Mortar is unlocked it's possible to wait with DoP purchase until there is another capable Artillery general on the horizon. Mortar is Hojo's special unit and unlocked at his chapter in library. Thats why I was wandering if it was still better than mortar. I think we need more time on these stuff.

I'd argue Takeda is more of a support gen with some offensive capabities, but Uesugi is a damn landmower. He is tanky and packs a good punch.

In the end, I needed to sell exp tomes to get 150k for the lv5 upgrade but I think buying shield teppo could have been avoided.
Main generals, troops+level and equipment (all lv1):
Maeda Keiji: Heavy cav 2, Tiger of Kai weapon+mount, hojo purple armor, compendium Mori Motonari: Mounted archer 5, Inioshishi, hojo purple armor, mori purple musket
Hideyoshi: Akazonae inf 2; Tenkabito armor+horse, mori purple musket Hojo Uiyasu: Mortar 5, Tenka fubu weapon+treasure, hojo purple armor, green horse

My westward expansion has been checked at Tsuwano. That shield teppo really stops me there. Now I am going east instead.

I can confirm that both weapons are farmable and therefore farming Library chapters is exceedingly more profitable than farming expeditions. Even if you don't need so many weapons it is possible to dismantle them getting valuable resources in return. Of course, 15 percent probability demands certain patience and luck, but even 2 weapons per day is a great asset here are the hard sweeps for the other f2p legendary stories
having access to good armor and weapon early on is really helpful, and once we progress further, they can be turned into black iron ingot

Which general chapters are recommended to farm? Kenshin and Hojo seem to be best among them.

Perhaps it's because I was stuck on Oka final battle, with my lvl 5 troops, and was not motivated to buy the Mouri castle to by pass Oka along the west coast of Kyushu. Thus, I headed east. It took about 300 of both exp items to give me the 400k coins needed to upgrade my Tensho to lvl 5. It costs 500k coins. The reason why the rest, to the east, are left is because they're construction projects, barring one attack. Nanbu's two northernmost castles, both required for the northernmost wonder, cost 400k each.

How to clear the level where we start with a Ninja and need to avoid detection by tempo troops that March up and down in rotation? It's a Oda clan castle attack mission in tenkabita.

How to clear the level where we start with a Ninja and need to avoid detection by tempo troops that March up and down in rotation? It's a Oda clan castle attack mission in tenkabita. Just watch their moves. These are scripted and they will only attack your ninja if he is within their shooting range AFTER they made their moves. So, don't hesitate to come close to them, if you are sure they won't attack you next turn. Remember the consequence of their behavior: first they move and only then they attack.

How do you farm gold, guys?
The easiest way I have discovered so far is Shimazu campaign in the library, chapter 1 on hard. It is an easy autobattle. We don't even need to watch cut scenes, just press auto button after deploying your generals.
750 coins per battle.
