Hello, is there a Trick to do this or just pure Naval Power? I can't survive with 4 Troops to get all red cycels.
How to Post Screenshots?

Here we discussed Kokura european-war-4.boards.net/thread/19197/tenkabito-kokuraIn short, you have to use your Rations. You can use burning or poisoned land or choose it to br a pure Naval battle, but you have to heal your generals artificially to survive it. You can post your images by uploading them to free services and then by choosing this option before you copy/paste it

It seems clearly better to go the fire side (though admittedly I didn't test) because you already have a land passage and only need to kill one ship to clear a sea passage. From the poison side, you have to clear two ships including the general, that seems to take a lot more brute force.

Actually, I believe, it is possible to use the reduction of the map to our advantage too. I discovered it completely by chance, when the outcome was inevitable anyway. AI moves his ships to hexes that will disappear next turn without any hesitation. I don't know whether this strategy has any potential or not simply because we can't re-play these missions.

I used the map restriction to lose 2 or 3 enemy ships, and sunk a few on the flank closest to the island of fire. I don't remember if I blasted the rightmost ship guarding the entrance.
Didn't use rations, but needed practically all the F2P ships and some lvl 2 gold equipment. 4 gens barely survived.

I landed on the poison side and attack the ships from land. Used few rations, and this is probably not the optimal one but that was what I did.
