This sounds like skin Su Dingfang's active, except that it prevents attacks by land troops. I wonder which is true: (A) attacking the commander leads to a dice roll, or (B) the commander attacking us leads to a dice roll. IIRC, some battles require kill counts and one strategy for the requirement to defend an ally is to lay waste to enemy forces beforehand. I am personally not afraid of it. 20% of probability is too unreliable to be scared of. Just an inconvenience, imo... Hardly game-changing.

Like I thought the actual number of defeated enemies significantly exceeds the required number even before the time runs out. Moreover I hardly noticed that this debuff existed at all

The D-Day historical event is out and it was just as easy as the Midway one. I beat both normal and hard on the bullet train. The only scare I had was when Kluge capped my Konev and almost killed Monty on hard, but for the most part I breezed through.

The only scare I had was when Kluge capped my Konev and almost killed Monty on hard, but for the most part I breezed through. Presumably these events will be increased in difficulty. If not, I think that no-one will complain about an opportunity to get some fragments, medals and tickets without bleeding to death or spending hours on planning WC4 is the most time-consuming ET game at the moment. It's like having a part-time job without being paid for it So, everything easy is welcomed...

Yeah, for most, if not all parts, i spend more time planning, equipping commanders, etc, than actual play time, except maybe less so on conquests, once the ball gets rolling...😊

The next History Retrospection event is out. It's the Italian Invasion of France during the Fall of France.
In Normal, you lead Italian inf to attack France via crossings in the Alps from north to south. Knock out 20 units to win. Defeat the highlighted super arty and heavy tank as well, and win within 10 turns to get 3*.
You could also aid your ally to break through Nice, but I'm not sure if the time would be well spent making this trip or if you'll come close to beating the two units before winning by accident. The western city provides money if you need to spawn a T-44 or stacked armoured cars.
In Hard, you play as a reserve French force going to the rescue of the western city from last time and Nice. Retake the NW city, while holding the western city alongside Nice and a nearby port to win. Beating Graziani on stacked heavy tank and a super submarine, as well as 50 enemy units will give you 3*.
The Italians have 2 fortresses, lots of Alpini and multiple invasion routes.
Beat the Alpini to your NW. Richelieu to prepare to block the Italian navy. Rescue the western city with the northern group. Hold it against the enemy vanguard and prepare to attack the reinforcements around the NW city. Watch out for the crossings near the NE and SE of the city.
At the same time, spawn a Pershing, King Tiger, T-44 or your best tank and send it to the western city. The others will rescue Nice.
Beating Graziani might cause the subsequent Italian troops in Italy or all Italian troops to withdraw to the NE corner of the map. Counterattack.

Should we make a thread about all historical events? Not just "Hidden" in the Update post.

I really like the milestone rewards for completing these chapters in Achievements. For example, we will unlock Centurion heavy tank after the next chapter. It is a big help to any mid-game player. After playing for almost 4,5 months I still haven't unlocked neither IS, nor Tiger.
And unlike old types of Elite units new ones have their special perks available already at lvl 1.

The Battle for Alaska is out... That should be interesting...
Wow Typhoon is so OP. Probably one of the best elite units...

In the second mission we can test Mi-24. So it is like visiting an exhibition of new elite units

How do I land my forces in Japan. If anybody had cleared this level than their experience will be Helpful.

Questions about new units. 1. As I understand it, Typhon has an air attack, that is, it requires not an admiral, but an aviation general. 2. If a helicopter is an aircraft, then all ribbons, except for a critical air attack, are useless?

You probably should tell us mire about your current team. The mission itself is not much of a challenge if your team is ready for it. But otherwise all 3* Events (even on normal difficulty) are tricky enough. For example, you should have at least one top Air general like Chennault (or at the very least Arnold).

On a positive note some "general" skills like Rumor (I presume Plain/etc terrain bonuses, Explosives too) work with Helicopters. And the Aviation badge should be in handy as well.
