What is the trick on this battle. I can't do more than 20 damage to one of the targets. Tries to go into the poison white circles but nothing changes. Thanks

The problem is with General Tachibana Dousetsu's shield skill (it's active from start to end), which allows him to receive only 5-30 damage. Are there any prerequisites we need to weaken him?   |

Occupying the white areas should do the trick. Can't replay so we're not sure what happens here.
Occupy the bottom left by itself and the 4 top left ones should do something.

Unfortunately, I've tried that. I also attempted to eliminate all the other enemies, leaving only him on the battlefield, but it didn't work either (I'm not even sure what the white circle does). There's one more thing I haven't successfully tried yet: dragging him into the white circle or luring some enemies there. If that doesn't work either, I suppose brute strength is the only option left.   |

Yes, unfortunately, the skill is still active. Even when his morale is down, My damage only increased by 10 damage with each attack.

Yes those white circles seem to only poison our units, I tried to lure him but seems impossible as he keeps going back to his original position instead of continue chasing.
I saw a video where someone was able to hit him with 100+ damage, but no matter what I do, I can't pass 30 damage, so I don't get enough rounds to kill him.

Get your unit poison and place that unit beside donsetsu

The method was right, thanks! The more of your poisoned units that are stationed near (beside) Tachibana, the more his HP (strength) drop.
