It is strange that they continue to ignore one of the most capable German tank generals, namely von Kleist.

First impression: - New elite arty for France. - New elite infantry, possibly with the mentioned "unprecedented mechanic". - 2 new Middle Eastern gens for Iran and Iraq. Possibly from the Cold War period, we should be able to look forward to more Cold War gens in the future. - Challenge 1950 Italy is part of NATO now. Makes sense, having them neutral in normal 1950 conquest was weird. - Germany will possibly be the 1950 King Maker. I imagine speedrun strats will involve buying them to your side. - Yet another WW2 3 star event. I was really looking forward to an American counterpart to Alaska, but this will do. Did I catch a glimpse of a new British general in Dublin? Or was that be Wavell?

Unfortunately, Weindling looks pretty much like the rest of silver tier Arty generals. A new version of an old tale ... New generals should have some new skills, in my opinion. What is the point of releasing them otherwise?

Meretskov: silver, 6* inf, 4* move, Strategic Attack, Guerrilla, IL.
Doolittle: silver, 5* air, 5* move, Fighting Spirit, AF leader, Explosives.
Wavell: IAP, 6* inf, 4* move, IL, Raider, Explosives, (4 * elite infantry level)% damage reduction + samurai, won't fall into chaos + +25% counterattack damage for self and surrounding allies.
Engineer: builds a mine that deals up to 205 damage, repairs building by 120 hp; digs a tunnel that transports units to a grid that can be reached by moving 7 grids (non-mountain/sea, cannot cross the sea, only units that C-47 can carry, old tunnel disappears when a new tunnel is dug).
T-72: damage +50% when standing on own or ally's grid; ignores terrain reduction when attacking/countering; reduces enemy defense and mobility by half after attacking/countering.
AuF1: +12 atk per 50 HP lost; range +1; prevents fatal hit and stays alive for 3 turns (6 turns CD).
Yukikaze: shares damage taken with surrounding allies; +4 atk per 20 damage shared/dodged for 2 turns (capped at +100% atk), 40% dodge rate against AF.
Current speculation from baidu:
Weidling cannot break into top 3 F2P artillery but can beat Nenonen.
Doolittle is budget Yamamoto and Hind general, except F2P players won't use Hind as main elite unit.
Meretskov might be good in frontier mode but also might need RPG.
Wavell is the new worst IAP.
The new elite units are mainly for EVP.

What is the point of releasing them otherwise? Weidling can make use of the koenig skill aka Fighting Spirit and still have above average damage output. There's still the question if this is a desirable scenario, sitting in a key location, taking hits and healing allies and himself. Looks like war zone or frontier at first sight, maybe defensive events, but I fear 40 HP is not enough there. Maybe this is useful until we get Medic lv5. At least he usually has a range of 2 and some 25-30 def if we give him one of our elite artillery units.

As I thought we get some fragments of Mi-24 and Typhoon as milestone rewards for playing Challenge conquests. Not enough to unlock them in my case, but it is one step forward No more "free" generals though...

And here is the video as a final preview: Wow, that engineer has two actives and that tunnel skill allow us to spare more skytrain uses for moving artilleries.

Is it the time for me to sell List and Nenonen?

I can understand to sell nenonen for Weidling, but with what do you wanna replace List? With a new infantry gen?

I can understand to sell nenonen for Weidling, but with what do you wanna replace List? With a new infantry gen? I will list down all tank generals I have 1. Guderian 2. Tolbukhin 3. Rommel 4. Bastico 5. Abrams 6. Montgomery 7. Rokossovsky 8. Graziani 9. List 10. Pavlov 11. Arnim I only regularly use Top 4 generals and seldomly use the next 3. I have finished Frontier and cleared all Warzones. Tell me, where should I still use List that I rarely use? Also, I will not replace Nenonen with Weidling as I already have Yeryomenko. Only Meretskov will be added to my roster.

I can now understand, that List seems kinda useless for you. Never enough resources or Tanks to deploy him. Only in the last Barbarossa Mission in hard i have the feeling enough tanks and ressources are given to unleash the full Tank roaster.
I would only sell generals to buy a replacement. I consider selling my govorov, as he is disapointing as expected, even with maxed skills and on a forest tile. Cant use a Gen without their Leader skill. But it is sad, that there arent many 6 Star artillery Gens avaible for f2p Players, only konev, govorov and in the last update brook.

I think you could easily sell a couple of your tank gens. I like to have 6 tanks on hand. My order: Manstein - Tiger (5) Abrams Wittmann Guderian - Pershing (6) Rommel - T-44 (7) Bastico
-> Abrams, Wittmann and Bastico go on the preexisting non-elite tanks. Then I build Manstein, Guderian and Rommel on elite tanks in that order.
