I was wondering if there are blue and purple refinment attributes, are there any golden ones?

Yeah there are.
I don’t recommend trying to go for them though. If you have an attribute you like just stick with it.

SolidLight, what is your opinion on refinement in general? Are they worth the investment of getting any piece of equipment to lv12? Are there any noteworthy effects to look out for? And is it a good idea to change them with refinement stones?

And is it a good idea to change them with refinement stones? Yeah they’re worth it on you very best generals, I’ve only really done it on Masamune, Li Rusong and Musashi at this point. The trouble is that you need a lot of refined iron and that’s a really troublesome resource to acquire. The armor is not worth getting to Lv. 12, but everything else is. I don’t think there’s really one you have to go for, if it’s just an effect that you like then just stick with it, even if it’s blue rank. It’s a bit weird right now since it’s almost as if I WANT to roll bad attributes since I really want the Wubei Zhi, but I’d have to have a good reason to refine stuff. Just blowing through stones just for that isn’t a good idea imo.

I’m pretty sure the RNG’s locked on that one too.

This one seems to be pretty decent, especially after reaching 1750 war points. There's also one that increases Valor by a certain percent.

I think this is one of the best attributes you could get (the one in the screenshot). Valor (or any stat) +5/7/9 % might be good for vassals in CC but the combat effect is rather small.
The only other interesting attributes I found were the ones that trigger when using an active skill. It's +atk/def/mobility/morale on surrounding allies for weapon/armor/mount/treasure. And they also have a version where they reduce atk/def/mobility/morale on surrounding enemies when using an active skill.

Now I am experimenting with horses and there are a couple of interesting buffs that increase a crit rate - when on forest tile, this one is great for Date Masamune; when attacking surrounded enemies etc.

So about that valor boost, my Musashi with maximum possible valor can't reduce the knowledge cost with the 7% boost. He might be able to shave off one point with the 9% one, but this isn't worth it for me since I can't get it in like 12 rolls or so.

Sometimes I think these are like rolls of fragments of generals. That means you get what you get no matter what. But all of a sudden the sequence was broken and I got a completely different attribute after several attempts to refine an item. Here it is... I have spent all my stones, and at the end I have a completely different offer than previous time. That means I have broken the sequence at some point...

Enemy, our unit or both?

That really makes sense because some of his skills and equipment attributes are connected with fighting in forests. But you never know what ET actually had in mind.

Interesting, do you think there is a cap for cost reduction or is it just a very slowly growing non-linear progression?

My Musashi at 256 valor is doing Musha Bugyo at 36 a turn, but my Nobutsuna at 286 agility is doing Jinba Bugyo at 28 a turn.
