Nobunaga Oda, Is there a specific guide for playing with either British or Americans in 1775 to earn Kate? It is pretty hard not to get Kate. As the 5 stars of course. 4 stars are weak as I remember as you cannot put your gens anywhere except on weako units and you cannot earn it till late game. Except Indians in one era which I forgot. Their Gens are the stronger in the Conquest I just don't remember which one. The ONLY good gens the Indians have is Cornplanter, unless you want to revive the "Kahia the Great" joke.

No guide is needed playing as British IMO. If you have Sofia, the Indians will help somewhat, once you capture Philly the Americans cave, the French being pressed from all sides also, you should get Kate very easily.

Am aware but there is one year in which you can peform greatly as the Indians and achieve the Princess.

I think the Fench (4 star) are a viable country, they have a strong naval presence with Treville and have a sizable land portion in the US. During 1775

If you really need such a fast conquest, USA is way better than France imo.

Yes, USA 1775 can even get you Lan if conditions are met (though HRE is usually easier).

Plus, you may have to increase your player rank & nobility since these 2 also factor into your years. Lastly, it could be amount of resources you have upon completing the conquest. Try to make sure you obtain a 9k, 3k, 9k ratio of resources.

Got my first one, Sophia, last night. HRE 1798 47 turns.
Without this thread it never would've occurred to me that resources played any part whatsoever, so thanks to all!

And then got Fatimah last night by completing in 46 turns from the saved game (I'd also done an extra campaign if that matters). It feels a little like cheating by using the save game, but I'll learn to live with it

Sometimes I use the 6 conquest save slots to cheat the system when I return to the game after a hiatus (play 2 - 3 turns then load up progress in save slots, reverting to last saved strong position & overwrite failures during my "warm-up phase")

I finished with 9999 gold in 31 turns. I think that that's the problem I got Lan! After some heavy s/l and several medkits, I finished in 30 turns with 9000+ gold and food and 3300+ technology. But no Vctoria. Is it just campaign progress that I lack and in other words: is this saved game going to get me Victoria in future? What is "s/l" please?

Basically the way players try to use to exploit EW4's save system to get the attacks they want (Assault Art) & the best defense (Defence Art) possible. This can be quite a tiring process though if you just wanna blitz.
