I've noticed a bit of confusion about these things, so I've decided to give the basics about the stuff listed above. Keep in mind, however, that i will not cover everything in the tool bar, since I myself don't know everything in it (Derp). First off, if you want to start a new discussion about something, or something else that needs a separate thread, go to the appropriate board for your thread (i.e, if you want to post a poll, you would put it in the Polls and Tryouts section), and when you go into the board, look to the upper right hand corner. You should find a button that says create thread. Press that button, and you'll be brought to a layout area for your thread. The first thing you do is give your thread a title. You do this by pressing the text box at the top which says "Subject". Once your done with that, you can type your threads information in the large black area. If you want to add a poll, click the add poll button, and start putting in your options for your poll. You can add more options to your poll by clicking the button "add more" below the text boxes. Don't forget to title your poll as well! Finally, at the bottom, you can choose when your poll will expire and whether you want the results to always be showing or have them be hidden. Click add image to post if you want to add a picture to your thread, and add attachment if you want to...well, add an attachment! Then there is the font face and size. Click font face to get a few options about what you want your font to look like. This is what Comic Sans MS looks like.If you want your font to be normal, press Verdana, which is the default option. Font size is to, well, change your font size. This is 3/12 pt on the font size. If you want your font size to be default, press 1/8 pt. The B next to the color wheel is for Bolding things. Such as this. It appears white simply because of the black background, so don't worry about that. The slanted I is for Italicizing. Like this example. Press the U with the underline under it to underline. Like this. The s with the line through it is if you want to dash a line through a sentence. Such as this. The a with the with the s above it is for raising letters. Like this. And if you want the letters lower, click the A with the s under the A.

You can also combine these actions by simply clicking in multiple. So I would be using Bold, Italicize, underline, and the up button in this case. If you don't want them anymore, just click them again and they will no longer be active. The paragraph buttons in the next row are if you want somehting centered, to the left, to the right, or if you want it all even. You can also insert graphs by pressing the button that looks like a graph, which is useful for stats. The button with the blue dots and lines are for lists, which is useful if you need to make multiple points, and the line button is for separating areas of your reply or thread, such as this:
Now onto replys. There are two different types of replys:a quick reply, where you only add text, and a normal reply, where you can add all the stuff I have just talked about except for polls and adding a title.

Quote is different than reply, in that, you can add what someone else wrote into your reply to add on it, as with other things. You can also add the other fancy gimmicks as reply in a quote as well. You may have also noticed that I have deleted a lot of my other post for this quote. You can delete part of a quote if you feel that the entire post is too long for adding it to your post.
Well I hoped this helped you! I know i didn't include some other parts of the toolbar, but I added in most of the effects I believe. I hope this doesn't create further questions, but if you do, ask on this thread please.

Nice posting guide, after seing this I realize that yes, this forum can sometimes look overly complicated when comparing it to the official Easytech forums but fear not ! If you want simple and quick just hit the "Post Quick Reply" button and you are done.If you want much more then we got all the tools you want!and Thatamericanguy showed how to use many of these.

I think some people might get confused on the forum buttons and icons and thing because the forum looks very different in the mobile compare to pc.
Lots of stuff you see in the pc view doean't appear in the phone version.

You should report them and tag the board mod. Also you may tag Saltin, Kanue, and Manstein, but not needed as they see reported posts
