well Bismarck senior has left for an indefinite period, his war , tw9 is still here, so the question is, what to do with it? Who takes it? What's the theme?

I may take it, but I will change theme. As in, you'd want to go earlier? In that case we might as well just shelve TW9 and proceed with António Salazar's General William T. Sherman's, your, and my wars.

Exactly, unless someone wants to pick up TW9 as is and run it, which might allow him/her to cut the line

I guess if someone does want to do Bismarck's original idea for his TW, we can see if they can go right after Khurram.

We should use the ticker to look for anyone who wants to run this TW. If we can't find anyone who is passionate about this theme and wants to GM this, we'll just axe the idea and your war will be renamed TW9

I'm not sure if I have enough experience in TWs to host one... I would have rather host after playing at least two wars THEN go ahead and host one. Probably a good rule for everyone. I'm sure all present on the hosting list has enough experience, but I think it would be a good requirement for anyone new in the future, at least.

If you're a complete Noob and you sign up for #15, you'll have #11, #12, #13, and #14 (#10 in your case since you are playing) to learn the ways of the TW

Or I host TW9 after TW11 to make sure that I will have enough experience to be a balanced GM. Is that too messy? I think keeping the numbers the same won't be too confusing for the TW mini-community. We're intelligent wargamers after all. If I am the host, I want to be fair to all players, consistent with rule enforcement, and also flexible and understanding of mistakes and help things go smoothly, while allowing the game processed in its own natural path for the players going up against each other in a friendly war game.

But yeah, 11 goes after 9 so you could understand the way of the wars...

Let just see what the RP board officers as a whole say about this first. As for TW10, I think things are doing pretty alright. Got some questions on there now for you, sorry man.
