Might I suggest that you keep Napoleon Bonaparte's TW10 named TW10 not renamed TW9 just to avoid confustion, and then name the next one TW11 again to avoid confustion?

I, the deputy moderator of the RP boards (appointed by the head of the board Péron) really would like to keep my war as the tenth, but I would also like to hear from the joint chiefs of staff Perón and Portales
And yes, I am the deputy moderator of the RP boards. It's real

In my mind if it's like this: TW8 TW10 TW11 TW9 TW12 Hardly confusing at all since we all know that TW9 had to be put on hold which doesn't happen normally, we're more intellgent than that. We shouldn't be having issues handling a number out of sequence, or else we should be going back to 1st grade basic math classes. (I'm hoping everybody here is at least a few years above that level ) Or yeah... we could always do the António Salazar idea, dump the 9 in the trash can. Be done with this in a quick simple method.

Smallpox...maybe in areas like Australia or New Zealand where it could harm the native population, but since a lot of the main colonization will be in Africa, probably not as much.

I'm assuming USA will be probably roughly just the coastal plus the Northwest territory, Canada under British/French rule, Latin America mostly Spain, Brazil under Portugal? Like cusp of 1800 or maybe 1812-roughly so? I'm just drawing on the reference that the Cherokee is presumably still in their original areas of Southeast America. Thinking of the 1790s as a possible start date, hmm...?
