General William T. Sherman , After winning a war and gaining a few provinces from a country how long after will I be able to declare war on the same country and get more provinces from them? You have to negotiate on when the truce will end, whether it will last for one round, two rounds, etc. If its for a neutral country, you have to wait seven rounds.

Do I just invade everything and then take the 2 (if any) provinces I want?

credit to NetherFreekthe loss calculations works the following. If you need a 8 and you throw a 6, you threw 8-6=2 dices lower than you needed. The formula is the following 50+10*amount of dices to low Or 50-10*Amount of dices to high In the previous example it would be 50+10×2=50+20=70 This means you lose 70% of your army. The enemy loses 100-percentage you lose So the enemy loses in this case 100-70=30%

Yeah, I've been wondering about this as well. How can I make Peruvian colonies if I don't know these things General William T. Sherman?
