Go to "Conquer World" and there it should be. There's 1939, 1943, 1950, and 1960.

Mayhaps I'll try Bulgaria. Greece to its south, Czechoslovakia to its west and Germany to its north, I see potential. Not to mention Turkey's capital(?) of Istanbul ripe for the taking. Weird thing, about Bulgaria. My friend has nailed the Bulgarian accent and even speaks a word here and there. Weird thing: He claims he's Swedish, but no one knows really cause most of what comes put his mouth is BS.WTF?

"Better" conquests here means fast conquests not necessarily easier.
For example USA in 1939 is fairly easy conquest but not a fast conquest. This is because of bad location far away from the richest cities of Europe.
In the 1943 though the US becomes better(faster) at conquest since they got nukes and these allow taking over towns very fast.

I'm currently on turn 183 playing Nationalist China '39. I defeated Japan easily, around turn 20 or so, but made the mistake of not deploying troops quickly westward to assist the Soviet Union. By the time I was able to build a sizeable force to contend with the Axis powers, all of Europe, Africa, and Middle East have fallen to the Axis. This is complicated by the vast distances between production centers in central Asia, and I fought the Germans to a stalemate (80 turns) or so, with front line stabilizing around Yekaterinburg. Then I saved New Delhi from an Italian invasion, and slowly rolled back a combined Italian-Romanian force from the Middle East, swept through Africa, and eventually landed in Greece, Italy, and Spain. Enemy AI would spam paratroopers every time I get close to a city, for example Istanbul changed hands 10 times before I took it for good.
I'm using a combination of mechanized infantry, armored cars, and field artillery, 3 upgrades on infantry, 2 on artillery. Next time I think I will go straight towards the Middle East instead of wasting time in Russia.

If you want to make faster your conquest with nationalist China you should buy Goring if you haven't him already with Li.Z.R. and send him to Europe and try to capture an airfield, Warsaw will be nice it will be in Germans hand until your generals arrive and you can focus with Your other forces to repel the Japan.

Has anyone tried 1943 conquest by Cuba it was the only one I could do. It's also nice to see I'm not the only one having problems with this game.

What country is better, faster to conquest in 1939? My top major powers picks for 1939 :japan, germany and britain. Make lots of long range artillery or use air strikes, either works. Once you better generals/techs/wonders and start winning easy do 1 star countries cause the reward is so much better.

I liked japan 1939 because china is pretty weak, and russia doesn't have much in the far east.
