I did 1939 with Japan and it's not that hard. But if you wanna make a quick win Soviet would be better.

As Cuba 1943 you only need the general you are awarded,if at that, take the neutral SA country then launch an attack on Africa use light infantry all the way and land forts in SA Keep producing light infantry to mass an attack in a later round when japan encroaches on America. From Africa conquer as much as you can the go north into Spain from there approach germany. From Africa move to the Middle East once there LAND FORTS they will be the only thing stopping the Japanese onslaught of paratroopers this is the hardest part. In America keep a few troops around major cities in weStern America if the Japanese take them then retake them. The mass you have in SA go to the American islands with based then austraila then island hope up to japan.

I never played Poland but if you don't have good general it will be nearly impossible. But if you have any I'd reccomend first fighting of Germany and after Berlin is taken proceed onto the Balkan and Scandinavia (Allies will take over Cologne). Send your Balkan troops to Asia try to take Ankara in order to spam paratroopers, these troops should concentrate on fighting the Japanese. Attack Italy and Africa. After that the only thing is just waiting for the troops in Asia. (I reccomend really using alot of paratrooper since there isn't Super Tanks or Missiles)

Does anyone know any good generals to get first. I've played for a few monthes but I don't want to get a general and see it was the wrong option. Any choices, preferably low medal, would be nice.

I think Meyer from Berlin is good and ozowa from Tokyo I have them both they are kind of low medal generals but they're pretty good that's just my opinion tho |

Does anyone know any easy ways to defeat japan when it's spread. The only way I know is by building land forts litrally everywhere and using light infantry.

I haven't finished a single conquest. This is what goes through my mind over a ten minute process when starting one. 1st minute: Okay this country looks like fun. 2nd: I'll send my soldiers here here and through there to pincer attack that place and use it as a foothold to conquer that. 4th: Well my general just lost half of his health. That's okay, he is made of iron cotton candy. 7th: Round 3 engaged. Paratroopers all over my land? Slaughter them all. 9th: This is getting a little tedious. Round 4 is all I'm on? Is this worth 50 medals? 10th: I'm just gonna go play EW4. See ya. I'm pretty sure I could win with most countries. I just have no patience  |

Mountbaten believe me I can relate to this,I got butchered the 1st time I played world conqueror 3 conquest,but a few adjustments here and there (like picking the right countries) and learning a few cheap tricks (like mass producing long range artillery) made things a lot easier,building the steel and money wonders also made things very smooth..almost like a cheat actually.
Also keep in mind the more you play the easier it gets because of the better techs and better generals.
Anyways this thread and others hopefully should help in picking the right countries for both advanced players that want to farm more efficiently and newer players that need easier conquests to start with.
Either way though if you rather spend more time in European war 4 you are welcome to visit as often as you would like,the forums cover both games even though WC3 board sees a lot more activity these days.

Same here saltin, I would have won almost all my conquests if I hadn't given up or gotten bored. But back to the reason this thread has been made for. Another good conquest might be Turkey. I know they alwys get destroyed by CCCP when I was playing with Turkey, The soviet union will only sttack in 1 wave if you survive it you're good to go. Iran, Iraq, and Egypt send their troops when the most soviet have been defeated. I say Turkey because it's pretty close to almost all WTO members. This is kind of like playing France in 1939 just with nukes. And don't forgot that you might have to sacrifice Istanbul.

A little something I noticed when playing conquest 1950.
First I tried playing as Mongolia(WTO), and I just did nothing. By turn 22, Poland and USSR had nothing but a few bunkers and land forts facing a massive swarm of NATO forces, while China was on the defensive with Britain/America coming from the south and Japan from the east.
Then I tried playing as Mexico(NATO) and once again did nothing except defend against Cuba. This time, by turn 11, Japan had been overrun by China and USSR forces could be seen approaching Scotland and swarming Western Europe.
Allied AI seems to be trash in comparison to enemy AI.
