There's a GPS on every nuke from my enemies guiding them to hit me!

There's a GPS on every nuke from my enemies guiding them to hit me! That's why you hire Mountbatten to fire the interceptor missiles. If there's anything big enough to land a nuke on, it's his ego.

That's only because of the battleship's insanely high health sits under your own butt. Try sitting down on a wittle toy boat like a sub and eat a nuke

Little as a PT boat?

Haha! Only if there were PT boats in WC3... Nukes would be so overkill, but then it mever stopped the artificial "intelligence" from doing anything just because it wasn't pratical. Back to topic... I find myself often spamming submarines when dealing with an enemy air carrier or battleship for a relative cost-effective countering and taking control of the critical sea zone without wasting a precious nuke that could be more useful somewhere else.

I disagree with those who say stay away from U.S. 1943+, I've had sub 50 turn wins as the US. You stock nukes, take one rocket/Level 3 Air city in Asia and Nuke/Parastomp everything flat in a few turns. Repeat in Europe. Game over.

Anyone ever bring up landmines to block paratroop spams? The enemy can bomb a bunkers and forts, but not landmines and they can't land paras on them.

Yes US is great but UK is just easier and better. Landmines has been discussed many times it is what one prefers to use.

Anyone ever bring up landmines to block paratroop spams? The enemy can bomb a bunkers and forts, but not landmines and they can't land paras on them. Useful if done correctly. To use mines to block paras, you will HAVE to cover a huge amount of land hexes within range of the enemy city. So make sure you can afford to buy the mines before wasting your resources on 10 mines, because you might need 25 to 35 (if there's not much of a sea nearby). Also it's beneficial to have 2 motorized infantry or motor cars to sweep the map into your color so that you can put down the mines into the desired area. Note: 25 mines is just an average estimate that can be misleading if the variables aren't accounted for.

Sometimes I prefer to stock up roughly 3,000 gold and a solid set of 6 troops, not touching any land hexes close to the enemy's city. With all that ready and on hand, then I will blitz the enemy's city, taking it down on my turn and then use the 3k gold to bomb/para all the other cities that has airports within range. Enemy's turn: no paratroopers, voila That's very situational btw.
