As I've said before, Lannes could've probably taken the villages at Waterloo and there's no question about if Napoléon would've taken Lannes with him to Waterloo. Lannes also would've been better than Ney at Quatre-Bras IMO Ney should never had been a Marshall, a good Leader of man and a brave man. But not marshall material, he didn't have good enough decision making. And Berthier lacked leadership skills. He always searched for someone to take command

Lannes was the first with his horse, crashed into the Austrian lines, took a standart and when he was about to take another one after killing some Austrians his horse died under him. Surrounded by half a dozen enemies Lannes killed an Austrian officer and took his horse with which he went back to the French lines.
