Oh you can only have a couple divisions active at a time, so even if you have 10 divisions there, the game will choose the best couple to fight. in Eu4 all your units count and it's far less complicated No they don't. There is combat width just like in hoi3, but your armies usually don't get that large until late game and the game auto swaps out low manpower low morale units for better suppplied ones unlike hoi3.

For me EU4 seems like the better game being far more simple. I just had a rough start with HoI3 and I doubt I'll ever really try it

HOI is definitely a trial and error game, you have to fail in order to succeed and have fun.

I just had a rough start with HoI3 and I doubt I'll ever really try it Yeah I get what you mean I needed a 2 hour tutorial to even know what to do much less play. I had no idea how to play at all and in 30 minutes I knew 90% of EU4's mechanics without even touching the tutorial
