we should play EU4 multiplayer tbh. It's much more fun and you can play at almost any time EU4 would be great. I'd prefer that over HOI, but I've not seen HOI gameplay before. I have eu4 as well. We should schedule something.

Its good, and luckily the most recent dlc isn't much so you can buy all the dlcs you need on discount. Plus in multiplayer it takes the dcls of the host so if the host has all the dlcs you don't even need any to get the full experience, in multiplayer at least.

You want all but the recent 2 probably when it comes to thise dlcs, and cossacks could be good as well.

Perdonally, I liked HoI3 but trying to micromanage everything just took up far too much time. Some things like the war goals and supply system were simply beyond intuitive understanding, and other things like army composition were too complicated to hold my interest for long. HoI4 is looking promising for now, but my wallet dreads the DLCs to come.

Tbh, at least from the streams i watched it doesnt seems like a paticularly active game. Shenyrr at least just drew plans and watched his troops fight. At least in hoi3 you actually told troops what to do... Though maybe there are more active ways to play and they haven't been discovered because its day 1 of the prerelease I believe

Release is tomorrow. Idk if I should do this add but on greenmangaming there is a sale where if you enter the voucher "iron25" at the checkout you get 25% off. It worked for me perfectly

Lemme guess... you guys got your parents' credit cards and used them to purchase the hoi4 now? I would love to get the deluxe package from CK all the way to HOI (including EU and Vicky), but the stupid greedy Paradox makes it so that those games are incomplete unless you blow like 90 dollars per title for the complete DLC package (and you can't subtract the cosmetic DLCs to get a further discount to get mainly just the real meat of the game). 90 dollars for EU4, 90 dollars for V2, etc... that's almost 500 dollars.
