Its not hard, put the eyes on rocket artillery (I have two no training rn, restarted) and I won pretty easily, you just cannot leave them on a city or let all of the attacking Germans die. The good ol' ruskies attack the Germans first, so your little empire can swell, at least until you can really fight the Russians off |

If you are talking about EW4, 1809 with Charles and Radetzky is alright, but you REALLY need to have them in the thick of it.
