Lassalle has nothing on her Lasalle has nothing on Lan. He has no advantage or edge as opposed to her. I agree. I used to love Lasalle but after using Lan for quite some time, she is way better. The only thing Lasalle does have on her is that he is immediate 5 stars in cav and movement. But once Lan gets those 5 cav stars, she is easily the best. |

During a battle,if Lan is on Austrian heavy cavalry,and Lassalle on French heavy cavalry,who would win?Assault art not counted.Both 150 rank and 10 nobility,1x1.

I don't remember the national unit system. If France and Austria are same. The ratio is 70:30 for Lan if you allow to train unit, if not 50:50. Fight 1x1 they have same skills work are Strike and Suprise (on land). You negate the A.Art of Lan, and Cav can't decrease morale of other Cav so Leadership means zero. Lassale has 2 useless skill are Mobility and Sailor. Same Cav Stars, same effective skills, but huge advantage of Lan is Train stars |

Never understood why there were no good admirals in European war 4.I mean they are great generals for every branch so why not navy.Anyways regardless on who has slightly better skill combo,Lassale has to be considered the best simply as stated earlier he is available at the start and Lan is not.
Kate, Jervis, Treville, Collingwood, Sidney, ushakov are all reccommended. I prefer Lan anyway.

Lasalle is pretty terrible. He looks good but isn’t worth your emblems. I found davout to be a much better choice for cavarly.
As for admirals, the only ones I recommend are kate (best skills), victoria (assualt art + defense art and good stars), and ushakov/nelson/collingwood. Jervis is really slow, treville is worse than Kate, and Sidney is worse than Kate. The reason why I put nelson ushakov and collingwood together is because they are navy artillery hybrids, except nelson has leadership and banner on ushakov

I've seen a lot of argues in the web regarding the cavalry generals. And also Lan was always underestimated from my side in favour of Lasalle. Don't know why. I decided to make a test. They have same cavalry fighting skills. But the difference is that Lan has a perfect accuracy (which is most mystic general ability for me and which is the only one can not be upgraded through regrouping). Lan also has critical hit ability - Assault Art. So, I made more than 30 loads for each with both of the generals (on the same unit with no items) attacking the same rival unit. I can say that if taking out from the statistic Lan critical hits the difference is only 1,5% damage. Lan is better. However it is almost nothing and I assume accuracy ability is not that important. But if we take all the hits from Lan we have 12% more damage. So anyway Lan is the best cavalry general in game. I don't know maybe nobody cares but that was interesting for me and I decided to post it  But Lassale has more movement. But that can be easily fixed. |
