Inspired by Jean-Luc Picard i came with the following question: Who do you think is the best easytech general of all time? From wc2, gog: original, gog: Pacific, ew4 and wc3 (Too many generals to add in poll) Mine would be manstein, he doesnt quite rock in gog (where rommel is by far the best). But his abilities in wc3 are so splendid, that i choose him as number one. Either tank, infantery or artillery, he does what you want him to do

If mods count: S Manstein If not: Manstein S Lin B's speed and output for Art and Inf are so spectacular! Manstein is as explained by NetherFreekClose runner up is Davout, who has it everywhere it matters

*Please note that while these generals might not be the best, they're the ones that I have used and have succeeded greatly using them*
GoG: Badoglio: Greatest General in this game imo, never failed me.
EW4: Poniatowski: Great cavalryman, has never failed in defeating the enemy. Washington: His skills are great, leadership is just so good, he's a fairly decent infantrymen, and economic skills are top notch. Treville: Best Naval General I've used.
WC3: Mannerheim: Okay, I'm a LITTLE biased because this guy was just awesome in real life, but he does a great job of wrecking tanks as a commando and can move far distances. Badoglio: Never failed me, he has destroyed many a British or Soviet tank in his day and has sieged everywhere from Dublin to Nanking. Graziani: A Beast. Lots of health, decent skills, if theres a man who can eliminate his adversaries in the deserts of North Africa, this is the guy (except maybe Rommel, but i don't have him) Guderian: Do I even need to explain why at this point?

Try Mannerheim on MI. So fast!
