i have played conquest sardinia, i made all enemies and all allies trapped in confusion by occupying their farms. it was a long battle but fun. i betrayed great britain, holy roman empire, and russia by occupying some of their cities. it was fun. Wrong place homie This is actually a valid tip if reworded correctly from a personal play style into a simple tip involving food. Tip: In EW4 you can use food as a weapon to starve both enemies or allies.

In EW4 it is best to keep 8-12 stars to spend only to unlock units (not upgrade), and to sell for medals. Use Battle of Austerlitz in Coalition to easily start trading these stars for most medals early game.

If the easy strategy for your enemies requires a brain, you'll survive. A human is greater than AI.

Concetrating in the objective can risk your general and units.
When there is a lotbof artillery 2 hexes away from you then go straight at them so at least the Artillery gets damaged

EW4: use rocket launchers as artillery wherever possible as the enemy does not get a bonus retaliation (shoot-back) strike. But beware the spill-over damage into adjacent squares, which can harm your units too!

EW4: "Artillery conquers; infantry occupies."

Don't just buy a general based on stars. For EW4: -Trainers should be cheap and don't need too many skills. -Final generals should have skills that benefit their specialty specifically. For WC3: -The best, cheap generals are necessary, so purchase generals that have skills that are useful everywhere, but in their specialty as well.

In WC3: Motorized Infantry is the king of infantry due to its fast movement and fort-damage. DO NOT UPGRADE AIRPLANES PAST MOTORIZED INFANTRY!!!

When all else fails, remember that resources are limited. Steal as many production facilities as you can, to prevent enemies from fighting back.

If an opponent has more infantry and artillery, an offensive strategy may become prevalent. If an opponent has more cavalry/tanks, a defensive strategy becomes easier.

Sometimes going around an enemy is better. Despite the longer time it will take, they will lose morale and won't be able to fight as well.

In WC3, take nukes before your enemies make nukes.

Movement is always a positive! If a unit can get to the battle quicker, they can capture and destroy before the enemy fights back.
