EW5 : Don't destroy wall randomly, it wasting your round. Unless you attack the right wall. Click the wall > info. Chosen and added.

Blitzkrieg is a psychological shock tactic that only works against human opponents. Against the AI you must be Spock, not Rommel. Au contraire. Many EW4 campaigns require a forceful strike at the AI, followed by a rapid march on the AI city objectives

Many EW4 campaigns require a forceful strike at the AI, followed by a rapid march on the AI city objectives In tactical and operational terms, yes. However, the AI isn't going to panic and run around in circles screaming "nous sommes f****s! nous sommes f****s!" like one prominent French General did in the opening weeks of the First World War. Unless of course you know it has been PROGRAMMED to panic. In which case that changes everything.

Ok, so I finally thought of a contribution. As far as I know, in EW5 the only constant regeneration item Is lucky crown. I think one is given and one can be bought. (Darn, if they added an item that has crowns regen but no other effect like crown has I'd buy it) It only heals about 15 health per turn I think, but what I've taken to doing is when using my two crowned generals in conquest, If I know one more attack will kill the castle but I've got several more turns (out of 20) I will wait until the 19th or final turn, so regen before killing the castle. Seems to add up. Of course, you can't stand in front of a tower or enemy, because that damage would easily waste the regen. Perhaps a more brief and better written version would be worthy of the Sun Tzu tip? BTW, its fun getting random numbers doing this. Instead of showing pictures, Ill just say Ive gotten 1983 (almost Orwellian) 1775 (start of American revolution) 1815 (beware, French ) and 1865 (end of American civil war) It goes perfectly with Alexander the greats smug face. (After this holy number, Imma take your castle ) Ill also note generals without regen (crown or logistics) quickly weaken in conquest, regardless of similar strength. That's not my tip though, could be. BTW, this IS the tip thread right? Seems weird that it started in EW4, but is understandable.

In EW4 it is best to keep 8-12 stars to spend only to unlock units (not upgrade), and to sell for medals. Use Battle of Austerlitz in Coalition to easily start trading these stars for most medals early game. Picked and Published

Here is a example of my earlier suggestion. Its alexander the great taking Constantinople from the Ottomans, but waiting from round 8 to 20 for some Health Regen. Note the item he has is double the regen speed of the lucky crown. I also had Nobunaga and Attila getting regen from the crowns.

In EW5 buy as many generals for gold as possible to use on missions for medals.

Someone here needs to suggest more tips. Imperial RomeBall cannot be lifelong Sun Tzu

When running for princesses in a particular conquest, be sure of how many times you can steal from allies without turning them hostile and always save first; one more enemy at the wrong time can wreck your fast campaign.
