I feel like the current list will lead to lack of space available for other countries at some point like the Ottomans or Russia. Enver Pasha anyone? Germans and Brits so far is more than 50, right? I'm assuming that we will have French, American, maybe a couple of Belgians getting ran over by the Wehrmacht Imperial German Army (Sorry Belgium! We will do it again in 25 years later, set that in your calendar), Austria-Hungarians, Ottomans, Bulgarians, Romanians, Serbians, Russians, Greek (and perhaps a sprinkle of various oversea allies like Brazil amd Japanese?) But no Dutch or Scandinavians because this is WW1, I presume. |

Im really bad with skills, but one or two infantry skills might be good
(This guy was a Brazilian officer in WWI)
Also, for this guy, its sort of hard to determine how good of an officer he was bc Brazil wasnt in the war long enough for a Brazil expeditionary force to be sent. 20 Officers, including this guy, were sent to France to fight, however, and did fight in the Hundred Days Offensive, being awarded a medal for his courage and bravery in battle. He was also wounded in the battle.

Adding Hitler? Only reason for adding him I would see is him being the role of a butt monkey, you know him getting destroyed all the time over and over again. Yup. Just have him in 1-2 campaigns where he's confused, on a militia, in the line of fire Hitler's regiment did suffer a lot of casualties (at Ypres his regiment of 3,600 was reduced to 611, while his company of 250 was reduced to 42) so I see his butt monkey role. Still, I don't see any purpose of him being in but his fame. He only fought at the First Battle of Ypres, and the rest as a regimental runner (a relatively safe job, safer than company and battalion ones). He did nearly got shot by Henry Tandey and suffered a gas attack. Him winning the Iron Cross was more conmection amd actual merit. I get the point of putting people like Churchill (First Sea Lord), Rommel, or Patton in the mod, but I simply do not see any use of Hitler. |

You guys go on discussing officers and history, just be sure to add names and make sure Washington updates his list in his post on the first page. I am thinking of posting a new thread about the history related to tanks in WW1 and then that can be put into consideration for units to be determined in the mod. I feel that it's too easy to clump together tanks from all 3 eras: WW1, Inter-War, and WW2 in most people's minds. Tanks barely were in development during the war, and while few prototypes were made, almost no tanks were ever on the battlefield during the entire war. |

Then we should put Joseph Saltin as a butt-monkey highly deserving of death by bullets in this mod too. He was single-handedly responsible for maybe 7 times more deaths of millions than Hilter, 40 mil in his personal holocaust compared to 6 mil in Hilter's holocaust. As for WWI Historically, he was drafted but deemed ineligible for service due to his damaged left arm. What if in this alternative history, Stalin was still in the army during the war? If he didn't miss serving in WWI, then he wouldn't never had screwed up the Polish-Soviet war so badly in the early 20s. Who ever heard of Poland beating Russia? Not counting Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, modern Poland hadn't won against Russia except for that 2 years war when Stalin was being stubborn, trying to hog all of the glory for himself. He refused to reinforce the Soviets near Warsaw. This ended up so badly that the war was ended with an agreed ceasefire. I bet if USSR didn't win with the Allies for the 2nd time in the two world wars, Stalin would've been remembered as a dictatorial poltican who was a poor military leader (sounds similar to Hilter, hmm). |

You know, I have to agree with @communist on the Hitler issue, for three reasons:
1. Anti-semite and animal abuser
2. His position was very low
3. Theres just no point. To see him die? You do realize that while we want him in the game to kill him, there are obviously going to be some people who will play this mod who would want Hitler as one of their generals simply because he is Hitler.
Even if you make him cheap, i just dont see any point.
