Battles required to win a province are and remain 3 The Picard formula is used for calculating dice roll, it is: 7+(DefenderBP-attackerBP)/attackerBP×5 At that dice roll, both take 30% casualties. Any 1 dice roll deviation makes a 5% deviation in casualties. Any number of troops can cross the seas, assuming it is allowed by techs. Anything I missed? So it's not about how many, but you might want to double check which techs you need to conduct an amphibious assault. |

Ireland's mine for the taking m8? This is triggering. Well Saxony is well within his rights because the Picts had DOW both you and him before appointed a temporary chieftain. While there's peace between you and the Picts, it doesn't mean that there's peace between Saxony and the Picts yet. But of course if you really want to take Ireland for yourself, you could tear up the treaty with the Picts and attack them so that Saxony doesn't have it. You're not going to be able to capture Ireland without breaking a treaty or wait until Saxony swallow up Ireland before you take it from him, tbh. |
