Be glad you didn't have MY monday... This morning, I woke up with the sewage system backed up and the shower flooded. I couldn't get to fix it because I had to go out and drop off my wife at her work then go directly to my university for a class which starts today. I parked on the wrong side of the campus and couldn't find my parking permit card (which can carry a risk of a police ticket with a $25 fine). Then I had to run all the way to the far side of the huge campus, but to save time, I ran through trees, up and down hills. I ended up sprained my ankle. Arrived at building 70, I realized I was supposed to be way over there at building 71 (they don't number their buildings in order, why? Why?). I hobbled over past 85, 84, and 83, got to 71. I almost got ran over by a bus. I managed to get to my class under 1 minute late, huffing and sweating. I sat down in my chair and I realize I left all of my pens or pencils or even markers away at home 30 minutes of driving one way. Yep, my Monday is a normal Monday for my luck. *face hit table* two words Horrible Monday morning madness (actually three now). |

Then again, you probably ended school before I did, my last day of Freshman year was June 22nd. |

Then again, you probably ended school before I did, my last day of Freshman year was June 22nd. Lol, I ended 9th on June 13th. Thing is though my county's education board is full of special snowflakes. So, my county is pretty much a dry ridge, right? We're that one county that gets no snow while all the others around us get like 2 feet. Well, whenever we get a bunch of snow, they give us a waiver the following year: nothing happens. So, the year after the waiver, they don't give us another: we get blizzards. We didn't get a waiver this year, because they SO GRACIOUSLY gave us a week late start. Meaning we have less days off throughout the year. I'ma just get my sled ready for when I need to tell the board "told you so" |
