So I had an idea where we could come up with a scenario and write what we think could happen. This isn't competitive it's collaborative and you can just focus on one country or area if you want or write about anywhere you have an idea. Try not to overwrite or change someone else's idea unless it's completely absurd. Is anyone interested in this? So I've been asked how this works and I've realise I wasn't as clear as I should have been. In this thread you can write about events in ANY country you want. You can create whatever fictional events you like so long as it's reasonable and makes sense, You don't have to pick a country to write about but you can focus on one in particular if you like. If you really want to do a single nation I guess you could ask people if you could have that nation to write about yourself but if someone else wants to write about it as well I think you should let them. Remember this is collaborative. Teamwork. Someone makes a post and you build on it (or come up with your own ideas). I hope this is a clearer explanation, if anyone has any more questions you can PM me or ask them here. EDIT: We are doing a scenario beginning in 1920 as suggested by Washington. If people wish to do another time period start we could do another thread for another scenario.

Let's do a more wars scenario during the interbellum period Ok I'll start with a "Setting the Scene Post." Feel free to add stuff for the Americas, Asia and Africa and anywhere else I haven't mentioned. Please note that up until 1920 which is our start date everything has happened the same as it did in real history, we are just making our own version starting in 1920. 1920 Europe and the rest of the world is still struggling to rise from the devastation of the Great War just two years ago. The once proud and strong German nation has been reduced to a pitiful state known as the Weimar Republic. Poland has finally gained its independence but its fate is unclear. The once mighty Russian Empire is in ruins after the October Revolution led to the Empire separating into a number of "Soviet Federative Socialist Republics." Only time will tell what will happen to the SFSR's. Another new state, the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes was created in the Balkans but due to religious, ethnic and cultural differences of these people it is unlikely that it will prosper. The island of Irealnd is fighting a bitter war for independence against the British Empire which has ruled the Irish for hundreds of years. Tensions in Spain are rising as a growing number of the general population and military are becoming dissatisfied with the military. Sweden has begun the process of modernizing itself and may have the potential to become an economic powerhouse if all goes well. For the first time in centuries Austria has become completely insignificant after its crushing defeat in the Great War. With the world this unstable who knows what is coming....

1930s: Most of the world has succumbed to depression and during that same time, Colonial holdings of most nations have started to rebel against their imperial overlords. The USSR, immune to depression have started to mass produce weapons and armored vehicles to prepare for the Spanish civil war. Meanwhile America is on the brink of revolution and for now things seem unclear as to whether nations will rise... or fall

1929 Baltic entente is actually made, making it a serious power in Europe, it contains Baltic States, Poland, Finland and Sweden, Denmark and Norway, so even if something like Molotov-Ribbentrop happens, its a blood shed which can't be holded by any side involved. ..

What period did you have in mind? Napoleonic Era (or from French Revolution) until WW1 so the eatablishment of the Confeseration of The Danube if Archduke survived somehow or the Confeseration of the Rine Defeats Prussia and Unites Germany Industrial Revokution

I am up for this but want to wait a little bit before making a thread for this time period. Anything between 1919-1939 Do we have to follow up lime someone makes idk a civil war in germamy or anywhere and someone needs to say something supports someone So lets say I do something about a Civil War in Germany (Actually I like this idea) and you want to add to what happens in the civil war you can. Alternatively I may be writing about a German Civil War but you might want to write about a Balkan War that is completely sperate. Does this answer your question? If not let me know and I'll try and answer better. Also everyone be careful when you time jump a few years because someone might have some ideas that fit into a year you skipped. If someone does a time jump but you still wanted to write about stuff in a skipped year either ask them if you can work something out so you can finish your ideas or if for example I'm writing about a Civil War in Germany and Bob is writing about a war in China and these two events don't influence each other its fine to keep writing I think so long as it doesn't start to effect another area. I'll write up proper clear rules when I get a chance.

Time progresses so we could end up with a very different world. Just like in real life boarders and governments will change over time.
