Hey!How did you find out? (Vlasov was a turncoat after surrendering to the Germans whilst trying to break the Leningrad siege). (not deso, speaking on personal behalf) I wikied him today, first he's a Russian. Then sides with Germany and the whole "vlasov army" then sides with Russia again but later gets hanged. Sides with the allies for the last part. I'm planning to do a Prague uprising lecture, and his army actually liberated Prague, before surrendering to Patton, who gave him back to Russians, who executed him. In his defense, if he didn't collaborate, he would have been dead anyway, as any Soviet prisoner was considered to be a traitor by the government. Also, Govorov, why no support 2nd shock army? |
