Had the Balkans Persia Syria Iraq and Pakistan in my expansion pack-Alexander the Great It takes a russian to taks down a russian -Catherine The Great *cough stalin to trotsky Funny fact none of Russian leaders has been a Russian Hell even Putin is not Russian, he is Lithuanian While it's true a number of Russian leaders were not Russian (Stalin and Catherine the Great come to mind) a lot of them where. Ivan the Terrible was born near Moscow, Putin was born in Leningrad/Saint Petersburg and Lenin was also born somewhere in Russia, and these are just a few examples.

But I don't think anyone wants to check Putin's DNA and give an unbiased answer for his ancestry...

Russia started as a Viking colony or something like that so by that logic there is no such thing as Russian. It would also mean I'm Swedish because I'm descended from English settlers who are (very likely) descended from Vikings. It would also mean many many people are Mongolian because millions of people have Mongol ancestry. Your nationality is is not nessasarily decided by your ansetry, Putin is clearly Russian born in Russian and while yes he prossibly has Baltic ansetry that does not make him Lithuanian.
