Sweet. I tried britian 1776 recently an it took a very long time. I would say that it wasn’t very difficult overall, but as you said reaching russia and france would take quite a while. However, it also possesses an entire allied country protecting its flank, but the indians will eventually be wiped out by the russians. The seven countries I’d say are best for 1776 are Poland, Portugal, Netherlands, Brunswick, Usa, Russia, and Great Britain. I tried Saxony and even though they give you August I, it wasn’t a very easy playthrough as you are surrounded by enemies.

Whats the best way to get medals as a beginner? I have Scharnhorst, Sophia, and Dumouriez. I have reached Fury of Prussia and Battle of Marengo missions.

Which will get you 10-15 medals per play (My experience at least) Not exactly the most efficient grinding system in the game but you have what you have. As you progress through the campaigns, Cyrus the Great, I would recommend The Liberation of Rhine (Third to last Coalition) or Expedition Russia (Sixth to last Imperial Eagle)

Alright, since it doesn't look like we've made any headway, I'll start with 1806 Washington, if you want you can finish 1798 and we can organize these analyses into different threads

Alright, since it doesn't look like we've made any headway, I'll start with 1806 Washington , if you want you can finish 1798 and we can organize these analyses into different threads 1806: War of the Fourth Coalition:France:Pros:A number of Good/decent Gens (Napoleon, Lannes, Drouot, Villenueve) Good starting economy Britain is your only enemy directly able to attack you (at the start) Cons:No Poland to distract Russia, Austria, and Prussia Rhine will fall easily. Russia is massive and both it and Portugal take a while to get to Ottomans will fall fairly quickly Netherlands needs protecting, as does Rhine Overall verdict: Medium difficulty. Has potential for speed running but you do need 3 good gens to make it easy

Continuing on...
Great Britain
Pros: 4 excellent commander (Wellesley, Drummond, Cotton, Sidney) Good economy Relatively safe from enemies Access to Spain, Rhine, Netherlands, Denmark, France Wellesley in London to make a ton of money Drummond is on Rocket (No retaliation when attacking) You can use 4 commanders this time (Normally GB only allows 3 to be used)
Cons: France will likely go all out to destroy you Takes quite a while to get to Italy, Africa, and Ottomans Portugal needs to be saved Spain is annoying to destroy
Overall Verdict: Medium. Good potential but you might need a commander or two (Better yet, use all 4 open slots) Needs to focus on Spain and Mediterranean immediately

Lan, Isabella, and Sophia can take out anyone in their way
