Question for those who spend emblems (or even for those who don't). Who is better in your opinion, Davout or Moreau? Also factoring in S/L for Davout's Strike to trigger.

Also consider that each have full hp and nobility, and both trained to 5 stars artillery.

Davout. Davout works well in the team of generals, as he is highly versatile. Moreau, on the other hand, is Arti or bust.

Jean-Luc Picard, Comparing the two to specifically artillery units, lets say both are on heavy artillery (in formation) on plain terrain, both trained as previously said, who would win? ( With Davout's strike being INEFFECTIVE)

Jean-Luc Picard, I was mostly saying that in a theoretical standpoint. I personally do like Davout better. Moreau is great, but in my opinion he can be replaced by a trained Isabella.

Moreau is just an over priced scharnost with explosives in my opinion. While davout is a hybrid and great on arti too.

Davout has Geography. Moreau hasn't.

Jean-Luc Picard , Comparing the two to specifically artillery units, lets say both are on heavy artillery (in formation) on plain terrain, both trained as previously said, who would win? ( With Davout's strike being INEFFECTIVE) In only Artillery, Moreau is the best damage dealer and the 2nd best movement (yes, many gens get this 2nd place and the best is Isabella with Geo and Engineering combination). But Davout is a versatile Generals. When Moreau has 100% power in Art and Lan has 100% power in Cav, Davout has 90% power in both of them. I bought both of them, the best Art General (IMO) and the 2nd best Hybrid General. And if i have limit of Emblem... I will buy Poniatowski first ^^! None of them

Davout has Geography. Moreau hasn't. In Artillery Unit, Davout and Moreau have same movement range with full upgrade and items.

None of them In a 1v1 on plain, when both trained equally, they are even in output. Since that is seldom true, Moreau's output is better (but only 5 hit points above Isabela)

My vote is for Davout cuz he's a hybrid, with great skills for both artillery and cavalry. He also has assault art and geography, that is why,if i had emblems i would buy Davout.(I ain't wasting one rp on this damn game,it'll make me more addicted).

Davout has the highest possible max damage for arty (with s/l). Besides, nobody else could fit Davout's role but Moreau could be easily changed with Isabela.

Without evasion of terrain, Davout deal same damage as Moreau and that's the only condition Davout can reach Moreau damage. The good thing of Davout is versatile, not because he's irreplacable. And Poniatowski is the most versatile general if you want to talk about hybrid generals.
