Fair point, but his potential is about 3 damage poorer Yeah, but he still has some advantage as the only medal general who can move 4 hex on rocket/light arty on instant. Cue Princess Isabela, who redundates him for all ages

Not hard either. Quit, put drum on, retaliate, quit again, put it back, done(it's almost s/l). It's severely tedious As tedious as flags and s/l.

As tedious as flags and s/l. Both of which I personally dislike, although I find the latter necessary in SNS

Mortier
Infantry: ** Cavalry: ** Artillery: **** Navy: * Trade: ** Move: ** Training: * Ballistics Surprise Sailor Artillery Trainer
Ooh, it's a rainbow of skills! I still remember thinking that a year and a half ago, when I first saw him in Gunboat War. A rainbow of skills, however, is scarcely any good. 1 cav, 1 arti, 1 situational, and 1 trainer is like a rainbow of muck. This guy has Grouchy's output for Artillery, but at least Grouchy is fast. Mortier is a crappy cavalry dressed as a crappy artillery in disguise. Not recommended

Bernadotte
Infantry: *** Cavalry: ** Artillery: *** Navy: * Trade: **** Move: ** Training: ** Bugle Infantry Tactics Business Trainer Economic Expert 875 medals
Blergh! are you kidding me? Bugle is good, and the stars aren't bad, but that's about it. He's weak, and he has no right to this price tag. If you want Infantry, get Dobeln. If you want Econ, get Fatimah. If you want an Econ Gen that can fight, get Kosciusko. Not Recommended

I suppose a D+ is a bit harsh. C- it is. Bugle, 3* Infantry, and 4* trade alone is not enough to garner much more, especially with Isabela's 3* trade, or Berthier around, or Arnold.

Jourdan
Infantry: **** Artillery: *** Fort: ** Trade: ** Move: * Training: ** Explosive Ballistics Formation Disguise 930 medals
You may be impressed by his 2 artillery skills, but one is ballistics, so this is Explosive+Formation. Note Mr. Yermolov, 45 medals below him, with more movement, and trainer. While Jourdan is decent, he is not recommended. B General

Sebastiani
Cavalry: *** Navy: ** Trade: *** Move: *** Training: * Surprise Steersman Sailor Navy Trainer 845 medals
An EW4 "primitive", like myself a year ago, who thinks purely in colors, will buy him. By Eastern Overlord, he will realize his folly, and become wiser. In other words, Sebastiani is a crappy hybrid. If you want a Cavalry-Navy hybrid, Savary is your man, not this guy. It will cost you 630 extra to make Savary's stars as good, but he'll be worth it. Not recommended.

I'm sure some of us have been waiting since this Enterprise has begun to see this one, so here goes.
Berthier
Infantry: * Cavalry: * Artillery: **** Fort: * Trade: **** Move: * Training: *** Surprise Strike Geography 945 medals
This man is having an identity crisis. If you feel like investing 4940 medals, he's a god. Heck, he might be the 2nd-best Cavalry General in the game if you do. The problem is that Golitsyn is 10 only medals above his purchase Price, and more than 3000 below his fully-built price. Recommended, if you want to farm nearly 5000 medals.
A-, but a full A for hardcore farmers.

Not bad at all, but Dobeln is 35 medals BELOW him and has an Inf Star and Mass Fire on him. Not recommended
C General, for his obscene Price tag

MacDonald
Infantry: ** Cavalry: *** Artillery: ** Fort: * Trade: ** Move: ** Training: * Surprise Cavalry Trainer War Expert 850 medals
He has well-rounded stars, but you're never gonna use them. Why are you paying 275 medals more than Dumouriez for 1 Cavalry Star less? Not recommended.

Not recommended B General He seems too expensive for this. Joubert with the same power is 100+ medals less, and Sakurako only needs 820 and is much better than him. He only deserves like a C- or sth.
