Lí Shimin is a gold general in the game, you might find him easier with the name Tang Taizong. He is one of the best Emperor of China. He is quite good as a general as well. And very CKII-style king (Killing his own brothers, etc.) Still OP though. |

Yes, she's Thai and a consort of a King of Ayutthaya (there's even a word 'thai' in her name, tho the word has a different meaning from 'Thai' as people). However, I dare not argue with EasyTech. If their PE teacher said so then... yeah, Suriyothai was an Ankor princess.  |

Beowulf should just stick to killin' dragons. Speaking of which, Robin Hood ought to be Vortigen (infantry). Maybe I should create a new list of errors (historical, geographical. I question the general they added to the game. Like Robin hood I think they didn't have enough info to get actual real historical gens for Classical Age England and etc. and other historical errors they made. |

Geographical errors they got correct before I think because of different developers or wrong info they thought was more reliable than the correct info (but they do have world maps in China...)

Easytech is gonna bring well known people as generals so choice of generals will be a bit weird.
Like many people know Columbus but not Hernan Cortes so they had Columbus as a general.

Easytech is gonna bring well known people as generals so choice of generals will be a bit weird. Like many people know Columbus but not Hernan Cortes so they had Columbus as a general. Not very nice of them. They should support fact over popularity. Maybe they only heard of the famous ones... ?? But since they are making game, not a historical reference, and players are more interested in what they know so it makes sense that they support popularity over fact. That does not mean I like the way they do though. |

So I just looked at Suriyothai, and it says she threw out the invaders. haha, she actually died in battle to save her husband, which at a slightly optimistic level pushed in the direction of eventual victory. it is said that Easy-tech mis-represents its generals, so I imagine we have enough info about the Votigern to throw him in the game.besides, it has general biographies for maybe the first time. However, I think that at some point a english longbow general is necessary Is hernan cortes, really that unpopular? we could learn from the biography and feel better about our total ignorance. The real problem with Columbus is that in Medieval age Spain and Aztec-Inca are equal in technology from start. I think it would be cool if they started in classical age, and thus had a uphill battle against the conquistadors. If someone says that is too hard, i say-yeah, winning as native americans IS hard! |
