So I heard Mongolia usually loses in medieval age however for me they took all of Manchuria korea and all of northern China, making them very powerful

Why those generals that are famous in history such as Alexander the Great sucks in EW5 It depends on: - Which "Age" of Human civilisation they appeared. If say you pit Alexander against Nobunaga Oda in Gunpowder Age, with guns being used & not much time to prepare, Alexander would be disadvantaged. - Their standing/popularity among people, ESPECIALLY ET. Self-explanatory, if ET & most of the world doesn't know them, they probably won't do as well. - ACTUAL military capabilities/achievements. If you are only well known for 1 battle, or for fighting less fierce battles, ET will probably look down on you. - ET. Self-explanatory, they make the final call. - Limitations. If you can only pick 3 skills for a gen to have, & have to base them on Historical achievements, it's obvious that skill picked usually meant that said skills are exhibited the most/strongly by the gens. |
