I think there is already a thread, but I use Radetzky and Berthier. I am too lazy to upgrade him to 5 at cav (4* cav 3* movement). Is Radetsky good?

Great but if you have a 5-star business general get lassale. What about Murat? Lassales output is higher and its flabbergasting. Trust me.

kanue, Lan is indeed the best from everything I have read, but as she is not accessible to a brand new player and is sometimes the last princess some players acquire, it's a cruel tease to recommend her. OP, if your spending ability on this game is limited, my personal recommendation is to spend the money needed to open up ALL the general/princess slots immediately. Then you have maximum flexibility to keep all the princesses and a few good generals, and still have space to rotate training generals in and out. I don't believe in spending money on generals or consumables in this game, which means no emblem generals and no money spent on medals. It's a much longer and harder grind, but it gives you the practice and familiarity with the game that you need to excel at some of the tougher challenges. I was originally going to be completely free-to-play, but once I'd weakened and opened up a few slots the benefits in flexibility were so great that I changed my mind about those. Pity I regrouped Fatimah first...
