Avstriya 1490. AEIOU. 4 ducats Research Papl Bulls (4/7) You can't research a tech without the perquisites. -Papal Bulls- require -Elite Religious Education- first. -Elite Religious Education- can be researched because you do already have -Catholicism-

Romagna (Eastern) Controls Romagna, Urbino, Bologna Starts with a yearly income of 4 ducats. Starts with 10 ducats Techs -Catholicism- Owns 2 Cardinals at the start. Has special rule: Illegitimate Progeny of the Pope
Great no one attacked me yet. 1) Research Theory of Wealth 2) will do other things later. Still figuring out the map and where my armies are and whether to steal provinces from neutrals.

The whole Papal States are yours (except Rome ofc). Basically, Romagna, Urbino, Bologna, Perugia, Patrimony, Tivoli is under your control. You have a peasant militia in each of those cities. You start with 10 ducats, and your base income for each year is 8 ducats. Neutrals are hosting a single peasant militia in each location. The players' armies do retreat after battle, but if a neutral is forced out, they lose that army completely even though there's other neutrals adjacent or not, because each neutral is independent and individual, so it's like losing their last city. I don't recommend taking Rome itself because the NPC pope will excommunicate you automatically even if you are the Papal Controller because the pope likes to be independent (I'm sure the pope would like to rule the world too, but for now he's the leader of the Catholic Church and insists on being independent, regardless of influence by a regional power). And for now, please no wars between you and the other players until 1494 AD the fifth year of the TW.

The maps at the country selections are of nu use (I can not color them with the paint bucket)

It came to my ears that there is a nasty spoil province called Spoleto. I will call it hereby Spoileto. Remove spoils. Declares war on Spoileto, lists Deus Vult as CB.
2,3) I cleverly surround the spoil armies by attacking from Tivoli and Urbino. I have twice the men and the spoils have nowhere to run. All I need is a 5 out of these magical dices to remove spoil.
X|_mKOeA Spoil removed. Spoileto is now part of the Principality of the United Holy Papal States. Prince Talleyrand continues staring at map. ·
