I have come to the conclusion that Florance should be Papal.
2) Arms of War! 13 ducats in my treasury, minus 7 is 6 gold pieces left. Those 6 are spent on buying province. 0 ducats left.Shoot 3) Bankruptcy, there is only one way to solve it: more debts. Declare war on Florence: Deus Vult. We attack the mighty city of Florence from those 2 damn bordering provinces I own excluded Urbino. 'Nuff said. CHARGE!!! ( 7 needed I guess, those pesky Florence pasta-eating marios might actually defend a bit).
umRLiSGi Florence is humiliated and seized by Papal troops. An inspiring victory for our great nation ·

With Ancona bought and Florence conquered it is time to rest. But before I do: 4) move 1 peasant from Spoileto to the freshly bought Ancona 5) move the other peasant from Spoileto to Tivoli
Peasant armies in: Patrimony Ancona Tivoli Urbino Florence (2)

Been lurking and watching during the day...
Next time guys, please WAIT for me to post an announcement for a new year before proceeding. I had woken up this morning to find a few people already gone ahead with the 1491 actions. So far it's not a big deal except that I have to postpone a couple of postive event for a certain player here and there that I was planning to relase for 1491 AD. The chance of a plague doesn't strike because the TW is still in its first 3 years. I suppose this is my fault for not posting the new year very shortly after the end of the previous one. I shall do my best to keep up with it and not to cause any delay or whatnots.
Also I need to tell you guys a clarification on the dice rolls. António Salazar had been doing it wrong. The minimum roll MUST be beaten for the attacker to win. I'm afraid that the term "minimum roll" was misleading and I should have been using better language for it. Very well, I shall keep the term "minimum roll" but modify the formula for it to accommodate the correct meaning: 8+ (( (Def - Atk) /Atk) ×5) = the minimum roll needed in order to win. I hope this will help things go more suitably from this point. Don't worry about a few misses in the last few pages. Nobody needs to revise their old posts for the mistake related to combat rolls on this one, fair enough?
Anyway, I posted mainly at this point to remind some players haven't posted their 1491 turns, please if you don't mind... soon? Quintus Fabius, Frederick the Great, and Franz von Hipper haven't posted yet. Let everyone know, I sent this PM: " Franz von Hipper, I hope you will be able to get back online soon as possible, I'm considering asking Jean-Luc Picard to post a 1491 turn for you tomorrow. But if you did come online tomorrow and haven't posted your 1491 turn, I will withhold the actions and incomes for that phase as forfeit (you still get to keep the 19 ducats from the previous year and the starting amount altogether though)." I'm hoping he doesn't eventually steps out of the game. He might have a bad start but it doesn't mean he can't have fun in participating.

But it's directly against the rules to attack him this early so not only is it an immoral (in my eyes at least) move but it's an illegal move. alright I'll just leave it to desophaeus. I have to get to the Peninsula someway! (Murmurs). The Mediterranean Sea is an obvious alternative. If you have -Expert Galley Construction- it would be a simple matter to float a couple of armies on the seas down to an available beaching spot and snatch up a juicy neutral. As for the DOW, it's illegal and the two actions spent on declare a Casus Belli is void, and not refunded to be used for something else. You still have Saluzzo as your new gain as legal, however.

Can ANYONE PLEASE tell me where the hell is my peasant militia? I see everyone moving their units but I don't know where are mine? You 1 have one in each of your starting cities and so if you move them they go to where you moved. Simple. [Citation Needed]
As for the editing, I thought it had a thing saying "Edited at X" but it doesn't have that on the posts here so I though you didn't edit it plus I thought I heard something about editing a post with a dice in it stuffs it up because Proboards thinks you're trying to change the dice to cheat so I didn't think it was editing. Anyway I was wrong and now know what to do so thanks!

OK then. Also, I've been editing posts with dice for a long time and barely ten of them have ever been broken. (you know, when the dice has a question mark in it?).

If you do delete one of the dice rolls during the esiting, it usually breaks the dice rolls for that post. So it's possible to avoid that by not touching the area of the dice rolls you had put in.
