Don't forget American flamethrowers at Iwo Jima. That being merely the famous example. If we look at non-infantry versions, there is the flamethrower tanks used by USA and Russia and Italy and so on. LifeBuoy is a silly name for a death-dealer, but searching it up, it comes from the shape of the fuel tank. So that was a mod then, the Cheirosiphōnes? Still haven't told me if Fire arrow beats marching lol. Bad decisions 1: Yi-Sun-Shin appears in empire, thus missing the chance to be the Korean Special unit in medieval. At least for the Player. 1.b: Yi would make more sense on Cannon but whatever. 2: Belisarius can't even be the Byzantine Special unit because he's the WRONG TYPE.

I just make interesting observation. If you want to know the lvl6 abilities of a certain general, play a conquest of his/her nation. For example, Angkor for Suriyothai. You have to proceed to Industrial level, where in tavern level 6 units (with star) will appear. Wait for a unit appropriate for your general, i.e. Armored Car for Suriyothai, and its special abilities are said general special abilities.
Tested with Angkor for Suriyothai (Siege: +80% damage to fort units), proved with England for Robin Hood (lvl 6 machine gun has Firepower and Longbow).

These different/new abilities are additions to current ones right? Or are they replacements? (Sends Hussar Atilla against Archers anyways)

They are replacements. For example, english normal machine guns have standard volley and accuracy (they are in fact level 5), machine guns 6*(with tavern general) have firepower and longbow.

I only have 1080 medals right now and it will take forever to get him. Any cheaper options?

I only have 1080 medals right now and it will take forever to get him. Any cheaper options? Well you could upgrade Cleo until you can afford someone better or get Bismarck. If you check the final lineups iirc everyone has 1 or 2 of Napoleon, Bismarck & Li, but perhaps you could be the first to introduce a new artillery general into the pantheon? It's definitely possible to wait for Li without spending on Cleo, he was my second purchase after Nobunaga.
