I won but then I realized it was 1950 so my conquest is invalidated :/

I tried a different variation, and evacuated Korea and attacked and conquered the white neutral Taiwan, reasoning that this would cause Japan and the USA to entangle more with the Russians and leave me time to consolidate. This worked the Russians left me alone but the Chinese came back with a vengeance!
Still the game lasted longer, but taiwan industry is very poor.
Ah well, back to the drawing board.

Finally, 1960 with South Korea!!! I also make sure that this one is really 1960, not 1950.

You went for wuhan and Honkong then? Gratz btw this is impressive.
But now the real question: is this reproducible or a freak lucky conquest?
I ask because right now as far as I know even the chinese players havent accomplished this as a reliable reproducible conquest, and they have a huge player base compared to us,they have done it but they can't consistently repeat the success on a non-hacked non-ion gun.
So if this is repeatable,it would be an epic first!

This is what I did. - Build heavy tank, put Patton on it to attack Pyongyang with Konev on the motorized infantry. Have few rounds before the Chinese starts shooting nukes. - I let the Chung take the city and move Patton and Konev south toward Shanghai right away. I build Govorov on field artillery next and let him join Patton. - Have Goring in Seoul to soak up nukes. - After taking Shanghai, I have Rommel on armored car and Guderian on normal tank. - By this point, I only have heavily injured Guderian and Govorov left. I build a new armored car/tank every round in Shanghai to defend the city. - Use weakened Guderian to take Hongkong. Guderian died in action - From Hongkong, I send 2 PMI to take Bangkok (wait till Phibun is weakened by Australian ship). - Once Bangkok is taken, the victory is assured. Initially, I planned to used nuke so I built one at Pyongyang but the city was captured on the next round so the resource spent was wasted. It could be much easier if I had not that spent that resource. To answer your question, I can proudly say that it was a freak lucky!!! Anyway, let's see if it is repeatable.

Yes, this strategy is repeatable, though, it is not a 100% win. The crucial part is taking Shanghai. I am doing it again today. Above is the situation at round 22 but I captured Bangkok around round 18 which effectively guarantees the victory. Also I have Konev survive this time.

K will try this weekend, this could be interesting I am so used to defeat on this conquest ah!
If this method works even 30%-50% of the time it is still fairly reliable and a lot more progress than we had before,

Mountbatten will be known as the second Korea conqueror! out of topic but in my games you are only known to wreck my ships and never die I wasted so many resources on those ships.

I wonder, has anyone done a France 1943? Since I've tried it and it was hard as hell. All though, of course, I'm not nearly as pro as all of you.
Also, I'm wondering about Mongolia 1939. I've made some headway in 1943, but 1939 still perplexes me. (Obviously, 1950 and 1960 are a a pretty big cakewalk).
Finally, we need a Cuba 1950 walkthrough. That is the hardest one imo.

I will try 1950 Cuba and make a guide. I will limit myself to 3 generals because mine are too strong to make it fair
