I wasn't planning to go to war THIS year but if I have to do it right now in order to get Ethiopia before the Ottomans does, very well... But it is certainly undue pressure brought on by the Ottomans' inconsiderate behavior. Italy deplores the attempt to flank Egypt from the two sides or the attempt to divide Italy's two colonies! I'm also planning to look up on whoever had led the ill-fated war on the Ethiopians and fire him if he's still in office 4 years now. You will certainly be sending more men next time eh. Honestly, If France does not hold designs on Ethiopia, this is perfect. You and France can both work together to block Ottomans without fighting a war, or colonizing the country-beating it up to avoid a different beating. What about British Somaliland? What about British Somaliland? |

Russia reminds the Powers involved that the Boxer Rebellion still rages in Qing China and this is not the time to be split for petty issues of colonization. Russia also reminds that Qing China has huge potential for colonization, to both Greece and the Ottomans.
If the Powers involved in this issue would make peace and join against Qing, Russia promises treaty ports in Qing, thus making Asian or Pacific colonization possible.
While Russia's diplomatic stance on Greece is neutral, Russia warns that any encroachment on Rumania (and thus war on Greco-Roma) would result in waves of armies against the invaders.

I would totally start the game! That is... If 5 people wouldn't get mad at me. See I'm not just trying to wait for the majority to want to start, but instead, everyone. We will start on next Monday if that doesn't happen until then. I've finally come to my senses and decided to apologize... I did make a bad decision, and as denoted in the post above, I did say that I would wait. I would like to formally apologize to the 5 who were voting to have the RP postponed. I am terribly sorry. If I have any way that I can make any of this up to anyone, please PM me. I'm sorry that I didn't consider others and instead rushed into something unprepared because of my own selfish ambition. I hope that everyone will forgive me, and again I'm sorry. If anyone would like me to redo the 1900 events, I'd be happy to. |

What's done is done. The year 1900 has already begun, there's no reason to turn back the clock. But I still prefer to not rush forward to 1901.
I still need time to sit down and write out stuff that I would like to do with Italy for this year. Atm, I'm more focused on the diplomacy and negotiations.

What's done is done. The year 1900 has already begun, there's no reason to turn back the clock. But I still prefer to not rush forward to 1901. I still need time to sit down and write out stuff that I would like to do with Italy for this year. Atm, I'm more focused on the diplomacy and negotiations. I was essentially going to write what Deso did so I would agree with this. |
