Ivan Kolev, Anti-Bolshevist Monarchist? Sounds good to me! Since we will be forcing your early rule, perhaps you can liberate Inner Mongolia? This is Alternate history after all.

I was hoping for Inner Mongolia, Tannu Tuva and part of Eastern Xinjiang. But, I would be completely content with Inner Mongolia...for now.

Ahh, so rather than impose I simply mentioned what was already in your plan. The Greek Government, and I suppose Romania (haven't got around to writing their turn) supports your claims. I'm thinking of getting a colony out of this enlarged Boxer intervention. However, Not sure that the Greek/Romanian Merchant Navy could support such a thing. Perhaps good allies would allow it. The Real question, is what will the Chinese do. They gave in to the Internationals because they perceived the cost allowable. I wonder how forcing more would go-I will tally our enlarged international army later.

Up to you, but it seems awkward for any Balkans to attempt a colonization program because all of them have serious domestic issues and budget constraints. On the whole, colonies were costing the governments of world leading powers MORE than they earn back from them. The main beneficiary were the merchants, industries, etc... rather than the country's government itself. The intake of raw materials from colonies made industrialization very profitable. So... if it's like that for the leading powers, the 2nd-rate powers like Italy suffered worse in the disrepancy, and then... the non-powers as in absolutely weak on terms of world's ranking, I can't imagine what it would be like.

You could take the city of Ningbo or Guangzhou in a negotiated settlement with the Chinese?

Were some of those ports already taken at this point? Like Macau and Hong Kong. I remember the Opium Wars forced the Chinese to their knees and opened up pretty much China to "anything goes" for an imperial power. So thus, Port Arthur, etc... followed that.

Britain owns Hong Kong and was literally about to claim Guangzhou due to its proximity to Hong Kong. Britain doesn't care much about the other ones.

Considering how important Shanghai was in the building up to world war 2 (widened pacific war) I whole-heartedly support this.

Why is the map split? The Eastern districts (not Chongming) appear to be on land, rather than the island it appears as. Makes it harder to choose. As a major member of expedition I certainly claim my piece.

Guess I should claim one of the downtown places at least.
