Interstellar travel invented in Swaziland. Interestingly, Swaziland exists right now but IRL was taken over by UK in 1903. Became independent again in 1968. Swaziland needs interstellar travel to travel beyond South Africa-oh wait, thats Lesotho. Swaziland is just barely bordering Mozambique as well. Unlike Swaziland, Lesotho has long been British. Shaka would be proud!

This is true, what Frederick the Great says. 1. I am planning on improving Romania's navy, but I will only be buying Cruisers and lesser ships-BUYING, and because IRL Romania had these. 2. Japan previous to 1900 could simply not build Battleships, it actually has none if I remember right. But its navy is still stronk, don't get any ideas, and will be getting some any day now 3. Ottoman has no Iron production, not enough for Battleships in particular. It gets away with it because it can buy them, and Istanbul is a large port, and thus can accommodate such vessels. 4. Thats actually a valid point there. Most navies buy from Britain, or France, or so on and so forth. Japan for example only produces SOME of its torpedo boats and the lighter cruisers. But it is learning. 5. Germany's main effort in world war 1 saw 151 British warships versus 99 German. This was just one portion of the British navy. The Germans wanted to break the blockade of germany, and to do so planned to lure one part of the British Navy, as they knew a full battle would not work. They failed. The German Navy did almost everything it could to catch up from 1900 to 1914. So while you may cancel the submarines, don't tell me you are going to beat the British. The actual German plan was a 2/3rd size fleet. The British planned to be twice the size of the two next largest navies in the world, but ultimately failed. Anyway, I hope the allegations were not directed against me. Greece had battleship capability (if only through buying) and only needs to combat the IRL weak Ottoman navy. And as I said the Romanian navy will remain smaller than either. No Dreadnoughts either. I will wait for somebody to invent them. IRL that was the British, and few others be able of doing so. Though several can certainly copy the idea. Nah your good. You're buying ships that are rather small so you're being realistic enough. I wasn't accusing anyone in particular, I just noticed a few people progressing way to fast without a care in the world and wanted to warn them before it becomes a problem. I doubt they were deliberately doing what I said it was which was why I made my post, to let them know that they are doing something that is unrealistic and unfair. This way they are been warned that they shouldn't be doing what they are doing and can adjust it so that they are playing fairly. Now, that they've been warned if they keep doing it then its a problem and they are doing it deliberately.

The Turk government is no longer interested in invade china day. We can't possibly send 40000 men just to take over a chunk of land that is an eternity away from the rest of our country. We're more interested in preserving what's left

Bulgaria vows to take action against communism in the country next turn we will be killing a few commies too. They're like a virus. When they see one country accepted them they start supporting their "brothers" in other countries.

@coolguy14, I recommend starting a new phase now and letting the people who haven't done their turns yet for 1900 just do them alongside their 1901 turns.

@coolguy14, I recommend starting a new phase now and letting the people who haven't done their turns yet for 1900 just do them alongside their 1901 turns. Look just be patient. People being impatient is the whole reason this started early. Some people, are busy and don't have time to sit down, reasearch their turn (though some people don't bother with is and end up doing unrealistic stuff so they get their turns done quickly) and actually write it. Oh and one of the reasons I haven't done my turn yet, people is because I'm trying to make sure I make fair and realistic turns. I'm also trying to find a way to realistically keep up with those who are progressing at a ridiculous rate while still not being too unrealistic myself.

To be honest here, a few of the peeps who aren't committing are taking forever to do their turns. I mean come on! It's been six days and we're still stuck with 1900!

To be honest here, a few of the peeps who aren't committing are taking forever to do their turns. I mean come on! It's been six days and we're still stuck with 1900! Six days is really not that long. Besides, it's only 4 days since the time I said would be the EARLIEST I could possibly do my turns. Its taking longer because I'm tying to find information on the period so I'm not too unrealistic. It's also taking longer because I simply don't have the time to sit down and type up turns. Just be patient. It's also only 4 days since @coolguy14 originally said he would start it. He started it early and said that because he knows that there are at least two players who couldn't post until a few days ago from now, he would wait for ALL players to be finished before starting the next phase, regardless. So 1900 was always going to be a long phase for the simple reason that you (and maybe a couple of others) asked to start a long time before several players were ready. Just. Be. Patient.

We've been patient for the past week. We'd like to continue.
Im fine with my request being rejected, but not being called impatient.

We've been patient for the past week. We'd like to continue. Im fine with my request being rejected, but not being called impatient. Well the game shouldn't have started until Tuesday. That's only four days ago. It was started early because some people were eager to start it before it was supposed to be. Now those same people are trying to use the extra time given because it was started early to justify starting another phase already.
