Well thats an easy way to measure my knowledge. Eliminate one field of it.

As for my username, been using Byzantion1683 and such for a long time now. I'm not exactly a byzantinist but I like the empire and its history. 

1683 comes from the Battle of Vienna, where Ottoman troops besieging the Austrian capital were stopped by German and Polish troops. 

Usually considered a very decisive battle, it resulted in a large loss of Ottoman territory, its inability to invade Germany and rest of Europe, and the blowing up of the parthenon. (but thats another story kids)

Ontario. At one point I lived in Alberta, where much of my family lives. Edit: most live in either ontario or Alberta, a few wander and one lives on Vancouver Island in the far west. 

over 2,800 kilometers between the two places, according to this one website it takes less than 2 days by car but I remember 3.
