Anybody watch the Eurovision contest this year? I only watched Azerbaijan. Good going Portugal! Land of my Godmother! Who is Hue now Von Bismarck jr? Good job best75, getting 2nd. Moldova ist on my eastern border IRP, so I will count that a win for the Romanian language. |

If you are talking about that comic, I find it very likely they just showed us somebody else's creation. If we need evidence there is the fact the other already saw it. Actually just checked the reddit polandball section. A user with a polish avatar made it. And it came out recently. Anyway, if you don't mind, what was your favourite song? Or some such question? |

I should search up how many Ukrainians died while serving the Red Army in world war 2. I'm sure it was quite a bit. I remember when a Turkish official called the Netherlands a nazi country for a certain diplomatic thing, seemingly forgetting what a Nazi even is. I'll let you figure out why that's completely backwards  At least Russia was actually involved in the world war... Wait what? A gypsy actually performed? So there was truth in that comic? Wow. I should watch all the songs. Since I've wasted my time anyway. |

Washington , out of 30 million Ukrainians over 4 million served in the red army, and 250,000 in resistance groups fighting for the Soviets. Somehow I doubt there were even a fraction as many collaborators or even Nationalists who picked neither side. In fact I just read that direct collaborationist troops (policemen) were only 300,000, and thats counting all Soviets. Meanwhile apparently 80,000 Ukrainians at one point were signed up to serve with the German military in the 14th Waffen SS grenadier divison. Such happenings were common for all occupied areas. I wonder how many Russians aided the Germans during the invasion? Yet we must judge another based on the tiny minority. (or rather they argue we should)

my favourite was the the British one Yeah it seems pretty good. I can see why people might dispute the Portuguese entry. It is playing a different game than the other entries, going all epic and classy. Does it succeed, or does it simply ride the waves of natural overestimation? Lol, the Spanish one is the most hated on Youtube. About 11,000 likes and 10,000 dislikes. From the ones I've looked at....I agree. Edit: my town is covered in Portuguese. I think I will contact one about this victory. |

You know what? Props to Ukraine for representing Rock...and for a short bit of the song even Metal. One called it Thrash and I can see that. Call them what you will, they did something. The others are pop or semi-classical, but the Rockier parts of Europe made it. England the traditional home of Metal didn't represent  |
