Guys is the Golden Staff actually worth it? Any item "boosting promotion of rank" or anything like that is not worth it. Offensive items and movement items + snare drums is the only items worth it in my opinion

Guys is the Golden Staff actually worth it? no, either farm alot (which is a blessing in ew4) to upgrade your generals via medals or just keep playing

Then again I have never done the farming strategy. My pride and joy Sophia was up to rank 150 with really high nobility without me ever spending any medals. But then I restarted the game

Items like crown or art of war are useful when you farm. You can buy and get refund with a 5 stars business general.

Hi guys, I am new in the forum. I have a question. Do the golden staff stack? I mean, I would like to know, if using two golden staff on one guy makes sense? Thanks in advance

these type of items:
Imperial Staff, Crown (speed up nobility) Art of War, On War (speed up war rank) Encyclopedia, Napoleonic Code (economy boost)
do not stack.
They do not even stack with similar general ability (Nobleman, War Master/Expert, Economy Master/Expert)
On the other hand, you just need one Imperial Crown, one On War book, and one Napoleonic Code.

the only thing you should ever buy is something like a snare drum or something that helps in battle

Greetings to you,
I use this forum for quite a while now, really great for tricky games like this one! Big kudos to the owner!
What I found a little bit irritating are tips on using to similar items simultaneously e. g. the two cavallery pistols +6 in mention before. I can only buy one item of a kind at all. Consequentially, I can only have one artillery powder +4, the other one is greyed out (not even the greyed out "buy" sign for not having enough medals shows up)
Do I have a problem with my installation there or is this regular game routine?
Mr. M.

Mr. M. You can buy items from stores in campaign only once. So if you want to buy more than one, you need to buy the item from a different shop in different campaign. For example, if you want 2 potent gunpowder (+6 damage), you can buy only one from North America Landings (HRE campaign) and need you buy another else where, e.g. Madrid, Peninsular landings (America campaign). You can buy the same item as many time as you want from your HQ if you do not mind about the cost and the wait.

Kind of a random question, do attack items (like brown gunpowder) give directly +1 attack, like 53 dmg instead of 52, or do they factor into the overall formula, like if you used it on heavy arty it'd be 3-11 instead of 2-10

I couldn't imagine the range of an armoured vehicle being 3-16
