Dat map made my eyes confused One, I don't recommend quoting with a large picture. It tend to distort the webpage on the desktop version of the forum (not that I use it much). Two, lol... honestly, I really like the elegance of a polar projection for removing the inherently unfairness of corner powers on a map. I'm considering even making my own variants based more on a circular design than a inherently troublesome rectangular design. Maybe, it won't look so much alike a circle, but it's a good idea to try to have the outlying parts stretching along the edges so that distances (in terms of how many turns to get around) wouldn't be so different on the edge than the centre. |

Polenbal, are you doing okay? Just remember, if I don't hear from you soon in 2 hours, you will be late again. I'm considering even giving you only half of the normal 8 hour grace period, which mean if I don't hear a peep from you by 4pm at the local time for Chicago... I will disband your Midway Island fleet and we will proceed with the Winter 1940 builds.
