Hmm...... It seems like I find something interesting. Well it should be from changing the files. The UFOs(small ships). The spaceships(big ships). The tower. And they are not counted as any kind of troops(like infantry, panzer, etc.), except the tower still counts as a kind of fortress. Rise of artillery?

Yes,they don't count as normal troops, they dont require ressources to build, are not tied to city size,do not consume oil,do not trigger land mines ect..
Also yes forum discovered very quickly after the alien updates that spamming artillery is pretty much best way to fight them. There is another thread posted a few weeks ago with the stats and abilities of aliens.

I hate those stupid bases. 3 hex range, 80+ damage, and almost 700 hp.

Moreau The alien update is meant as an end game challenge,it is meant to be very hard for players who already have all of the best generals have upgraded health, have very strong techs, have all the wonders, can do all the normal conquests with ease ect... It was added after Easytech got complaints that players have done it all in wc3,that everything was too easy and that they didnt have any new challenge. Now the pro players can have something to do too and battle each other finding new, faster, better ways of beating the aliens. The aliens are not really meant to be played by 90% of the players who are not ready for them imo.

I just ignore them. I find any way to maneuver out of its range when I'm attacking cities. Good thing it can't move

Can we add a pic of each unit right next to the stats pic,I think that would make the thread even better.
