In this game we all have the same general, that is to say guderian, govorov, badoglio, patton, ozawa, goring, konev, bai cx ...
So now I will write some alternative generals Guderian Timoshenko Montgomery Lin.B Arnold Mannerheim
These 6 generals are the best in my opinion, but there are others who are stronger, like govorov, but their lives are very low and many medals have to be made to become marshals. With these 6 generals you can play both offensive and defensive. So if you want generals with great survival, you know who to choose.

I would like to receive an answer from him, I think one of the greatest gaming experts, we have different ideas, for example he considers goring better than arnold, vasilevsky better than mannerheim and patton or vatutin better than montgomery, i would like to discuss with him

Patton or Valutin is easily better than Monty, why? Monty is overpriced but unfocused, so not worthwhile to buy. The inf guys... kinda depends on what you're looking for. They have their pros and cons. The air guys... depends on if you want to decide what to use him as. Pure air only? Or hybrid as in Air/Inf? Air/Art? That becomes a bit complicated. But honestly... pretty easily to obsolete the air general on your team by building a no-eyes cmdr with five air stars then a full layout for tank or art to replace him.

I claim that I currently do not have these generals, but I have the usual guderian ozawa badog govorov bai and vatutin. According to me monty from the defensive point of view is the best with its 4 star air more has level 4 supply, instead arnold on a aircraft carrier or field artillery can do many damage with fighters, arnold in a city is perfect: level 3 supply And level 3 fortifications, defense tactic level 2. for the infantry, it causes more vasilevsky damage but I prefer the finlades for its defensive skills

Desophaeus, These generals are valuebet, ie value bets, in practice they cost less than their real strength. They are all Generals or Marshals and they are not very expensive for that. If I bought govorov I would have to spend 1870 medals, and other 300 + 400 + 500 + 650 + 800 medals to get to Marshal. In total 4520. CRAZY This six are the best generals i think

I've made it to the final 4 Alien levels before my tablet broke, so while I was going to downplay my experience I should actually know something. The thing I think seigol, is that nobody upgrades to Marshal. Most don't. Its so expensive they stop at Lt.General or don't even upgrade at all, though of course Govorov in your example is pretty low on health. While having a automatic Marshal is great...I can't compare Montgomery and Timoshenko exactly since different unit, BUT a Upgraded Govorov is way stronger than them, at least Shenko. 4520 is maybe cheaper when you compare their strength at marshal. Not even sure a Marshal Navy is necessary other than in one mission, BUT I used Yamamoto who is a General. However I preferred to use him on Artillery more than warship. Stupid game not counting Airstrikes for kill count. Yama deserved better. Desophaeus, what about Arnold? He has NO output. Well yeah neither does Goring really but...that's different? (I'm a Yamamoto fan so what do I care anyway)

I tend to lean toward conquests (which doesn't actually need serious generals, ironically).
To be honest, air generals aren't ever a priority for me. More like a cherry on top of a sundae. Nice if you got a good one, but not vital because the difference between having one and not having one is needing less airstrikes, that's it. Plus in the conquests, the air strikes are more of a quicker way to secure a region if there's a chain of airports within range.
And in the later conquests, nukes makes it not really matter whether if you have a good air general or not. Honestly, even for alien conquests the nukes are more useful for securing a new city (but on the flip side, air generals are actually better for finishing up lingering leftovers). I would rather to have a second Govorov than Goring, really.

Desophaeus, where you are in campaigns? and what generals have you? Somewhere in NATO I think, I had restarted. New phone, because my old phone suddenly died after 2 long years. But in my old save, I finished almost everything except the alien campaigns. I promise you, Erich von Manstein would say the same thing... if you're already done with the alien conquests (all tiers), you definitely are past the point of buying academy generals. The only reason why you would continue to buy one is for the sake of making your HQ page look pretty with general portraits or just pure sake of historical value collecting. Again, I don't think Erich von Manstein would even say one thing different for you at your position where you are in WC3 now. Customized generals while expensive, would be the crowning jewels of your generals team.
