Yep... He seems to be necessary for Volgograd... Robin could be cheap alternative in case rest of the team is strong enough But in this case there is a chance that enemy general will be out of his range and simple archers won't handle him.

Nelson seems to be the only one general with two necessary skills for this task - Commander skill + 3h attack. It is possible to kill the enemy general using both archeries, but to achieve this to much time is needed...

Good thing I got nelson then, just got Washington to lv6, and he shreds archers(obviously not as well in volgograd and tough levels, but it helps some, saving for Odin set next)

There are less unexpected counterattacks than usual. And those are predictable. Basically enemies just sit and wait. This means more or less straightforward execution of the plan. Yes, that is the only positive thing about Volgograd

It will be very courageous to upgrade Robin up lvl 6 to prove/disprove this possibility I saw several players here who use free generals actively. And in case You have Robin anyway he could become a substitute. I beated Volgograd 15-20 times and at least 3-4 times enemy general moved to the shore. I don't know exactly what is the reason (wasn't the purpose of my investigations) but probably depends on how you place the archers after the general is "found". So, theoretically Robin could kill him with the help of archers.

For Robin the price is 1850 medals: to empire 180, to discovery 350, to gunpowder 550, to industrial 770 and Nelson's Commander skill is very usefull early in Volgograd. I for example used him do destroy the tower on the island together with art generals. ps I beated Volgograd only twice (using 3 arch Commanders another time) and I appreciate your devotion

Well, I completed EW5 some time ago again. Now with this team: Attila - Black Prince - Blucher (from time to time I used Asoka as well). Mocti-Li Caesar Khalid-Bismarck So I have two new names for the endgame teams summary - Edward and Khalid. I was impressed by two things actually. 1. Attila's power. Singlemalt said that he is good but really I didn't think he is so good, especially with support of Edward. 2. Field hospital. Caesar and Mocty together are very impressive - 300 HPs each turn for all members of the team especially taking into account that I had Blucher and a number of generals with Leadership - Li, Mocty, Edward...

Nice job dude. I just barely beat Yekaterinberg. I can’t even imagine what Volgograd is like.
