Landmarks are a new feature inside World Conqueror 4. Unlike wonders their effect doesn't effect the whole battlefield, but just one city. You need to unlock the landmarks first to use them, currently we don't know how to do so. Than you can build the landmarks in cities for a small price and the effect will apply for that city. We don't know if you can build the same landmarks in multiple cities. Currently these landmarks are known, for some of them we know the effect: Broadcast tower - the moral of the troops in the city will not go down National monument Trade market Powerplant Command center - the rank of forces increases by 1 level when recruiting troops Fire administration Technokogy centre Financial centre Industrial center - the industrial output of the city increases by 50% Land radar Field hospital Space center National defense Military academy Millitary factory Underground fort

I don't know what to think of landmarks as they are new, but it's good that easytech decided to be at least a little unique in their new game.
As for the landmarks i hope they aren't super strong. I don't want them to be of a huge influence. Because i don't really like to necessarily unlock them cause otherwise you can't beat the campaign/conquest. This game shouldn't become 'unlock the landmarks and you win'.
I do hope they will influence the gameplay slightly though, as a niche feature. I'll rate it good

I'll rate it good As they will influence gameplay and as I thinl we saw it is conquest feature I think it will help with conquest times and while it only affects one city it can be a major improvement for times, for example if it gives resources or improves unit capabilities in critical situations it could boost players performance in every situation at hand🙂

Can we build same landmark in different cities? If yes, I see it as big help in conquest like ew5 princesses

They can be helpful for using them at a missle/airfield/nuclear reactor city cause they'll give bonuses

I'll rate it good 50% increase in industrial output sounds pretty big. How does building them work? Do you build them in each mission/conquest or do you build them out of the missions and they are then already there when you start a conquest? If so what if say I build something in Moscow but I play as Germany. Does the Soviets get my landmark to start with or does it only appear if I take Moscow for myself?

From video it loojs like they are deployable in each conquest just like princeses

The colors of the landmarks probably mean something.
Red landmarks probably give buffs to troops stationed. Green landmarks probably give buffs to city output (money, power, tools and the like). Blue landmarks probably improve city defense somehow. They have health like WC3.

Sounds great, except for one thing - Medal Wonders. Our only renewable source of badges are Wonders, so what will be used to get Medals instead? Or perhaps there won't be unlimited badges anymore?

Here's my guesses on some of the landmarks: Trading Market: Allows us to trade for resources we need Power plant: Electricity up 50% Tech Centre: Tech up 50% Financial Centre: Gold up 50% Field Hospital: Units heal better in city Space Centre: Either something to do with missiles or the same as the Space Station wonder. Military Academy: 3 possibilities: EW5 Tavern (need it to place generals), placed general buff, or military unit buff. Military Factory: Some kind of unit buff or unit production buff. Blue landmarks: No idea, but they probably give better and better defense buffs.

The trailer included resource exchanges between allies. Looks like our allies are finally not near-useless meat shields standing in the way of the enemy's cities
